That was the first and only time I've heard Silver say those words. "Silver. Du need to learn how to control your anger. Du shouldn't take it on.. Innocent villagers.." I explained. He nodded. "Help me." I blushed. I mean, that was sweet actually.
"Yes. I will help you," I smiled. "But first, Du gotta do a couple things for me." Silver looked at me stubbornly. "What?" "First, turn yourself in to Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. Then, promise them, me, AND all the residents in Goldenrod that your done with crime for sure. Du gotta help rebuild Goldenrod, and... The promise. That Du promised me a long long time ago." Silver blushed madly at me for the last one. "Y-you still remember the stupid promise from years ago?!" I giggled. "Uhm... Yeah. It isn't too hard to do, is it?"
The awkward silence began. "....I guess Du don't wanna do it.. Huh?" I asked and scooted a bit closer to Silver. He didn't notice. He shrugged. "I guess." We faced each other. I grinned. "So, starting today, we are now partners in crime. Fighting all bad, and becoming all good. I'm happy Du came to your senses..." I said. "By the way, where are we?" "We're underground.Y'know, that place where there was the salon brothers, and that herb seller.. And the team rocket hideout..." Silver replied. "Well, lets just take a look at the remaining town, shall we?" Silver shook his head, he reminded me of when he was a little boy when he was scared. I took his hand. "C'mon!"

"s-see? Theres nothing left for Du to see!" I said, attempting to make him feel better.
"There he is!!" We looked back, it was the Goldenrod gym leader Whitney. Behind her was a mob of angry-looking residents. "Get him!!!" They chanted. "R-run!" I cried as Silver and me dashed into Route 34. "N-now where?!" I asked, panicking. Silver looked around. "How about.. Ilex forest!" We started over to the forest.

"Eew, caterpies everywhere.." I sagte disturbed. Silver rolled his eyes. I sent out my Espeon. "Shh, Espeon, Du gotta promise me Du won't make any noise out here.." She nodded. Silver stared at his shiny red and white pokeball. "This is my Feraligatr.. I'm too ashamed to take him out." I grabbed his hand and tried comforting him. "I know Du had a rough past, but Du promised that we're gonna help each other out, no matter what." He showed the slightest smile. "..But.. I didn't exactly promise on that..." "So!" I snapped, and we both broke into a laugh. "Okay, quiet now.." I lay Weiter to him, feeling somewhat safe.
