"Chikorita! Use Sweet Scent! Roserade! Petal Dance!" I shout, my Pokemon quickly respond. "Rose!" Roserade starts dancing like a ballerina with rosa blume petals surrounding her. Chikorita's Sweet Scent helps the Petal Dance grow Mehr beautiful. "The battlefield has a sweet aroma in the air with the combination of Petal Dance and Sweet Scent!" the announcer, Mary Ann, cheers. "Lunatone and Solrock, Psychic! Attack now!" Marisol bellows out loud to her Pokemon. "Luna." "Rock." Both Pokemon's eyes turn a bright red and it makes the Petal Dance and Sweet Scent go away. She's a tough opponent. "But that won't stop me! Roserade, Energy Ball! Chikorita, Synthesis!" As asked, a ball of green energy is in front of Roserade. The Synthesis makes the ball shine. "Chikorita, use Razor Leaf!" I shout as I twirl around in a circle. My white dress spins with my movement. The jagged leaves slice the energy ball leaving behind shimmering sparks.

"Wow! The Razor Leaf just made the energy ball get chopped in half making Chikorita shine!" "Let's finish this! Lunatone, Moonlight! Solrock, Sunny Day!" Half of the stadium turns dark as night, and the other half is sunny as day! I see the clock. I Lost 10 points. We're at the 30 Sekunde mark! I have to call a Bewegen in! "Roserade, Solarbeam!" Roserade quickly uses Solarbeam, absorbing the light. She lets go off the light attack. It hits Lunatone and Solrock! Causing a lot of damage, Marisol's Pokemon fall to the ground, not fainting, though.

"...And...time's up!" Marisol and I look at the board holding our scores. My part of the point pie is bigger than Marisol. "The winner of this battle is...Aurora from Hearthome City!" I glare at the score. "I...I won? I won! Roserade, Chikorita! We won!" My two gras, grass Pokemon run to me and embrace me in a hug. "Rose!" "Chika!" I see Marisol trying to comfort her Pokemon over their loss. She looks like the one who needs comforting. Marisol sends her Pokemon back into their pokeballs and walks back to the Dressing Room with her head down.

"I...can't believe I...lost." Tears run down Marisol's cheek. "I can't either." I say. "Don't...talk to me." she snaps back to me. I sit down Weiter to her. "Marisol. Du were battling very hard. I guess I was lucky to win." She huffs a puff of air. "Well, there's always Weiter year." She takes off out the door.

After the other battles, I look out for my picture to see who I'm up against in the quarter finals. I see my Foto Weiter to a guy named Nando. "Aurora, don't underestimate Nando's power for one millisecond. He's really powerful. But, I bet Du can beat him." Zoey informs me. "I know. You've battled him before. The was a battle to watch!" I respond in return. Nando smiles at Zoey. I give her a confused look. "What's all that about?" "Nothing." The confused look returns. "What is it?" "Fine. Nando asked me out a couple days Vor and I agreed." "Have Du kissed yet?" I ask. "No. Not yet. Just on the cheek, though." "Awwwww...!" Zoey softly giggles under her breath. "So, what about Du and Tobias?" Zoey's talking about Tobias. (The one with the Darkrai.) "Not much. Normal relationship. "Have you two kissed?" "Maybe."

"...We'll see Du tomorrow!" Mary Ann yells out loud.
