At lunch, Anjanette and Ferdinand sat with Tammy. Tammy wrote down directions to her parents' pet rescue center. Anjanette asked, "Does this place ever rescue Collies?" Tammy replied, "We do have Collies sometimes. In fact, we have a litter right now. They were rescued from a ditch along with their mother." Anjanette said, "That's awesome! I can't wait to tell my uncle the good news." Tammy said, "You live with your uncle? What happened to your parents?" Anjanette began to cry. Ferdinand said, "She's not ready to talk about that just yet. She has been through so much already. She recently started living with her uncle, so her past still hurts." Tammy said, "I'm sorry, Anjanette. I didn't mean to upset you." Anjanette dried her tears and said, "It's all right." Tammy seemed like a nice enough person, but Anjanette wasn't comfortable telling Tammy about the abuse she suffered. Still, Anjanette was excited about the potential of getting a Collie. When she got off the bus, she ran inside to talk to Uncle Bruce.
This is a special request from Antonia, so here I go.
I'm sorry that you've been feeling down recently. Losing a friend is hard, and I know what it's like to go through this. However, I want to let Du know that I'm here for you. I'll be a shoulder to cry on, and Du can talk with me anytime Du like.
Du are never alone, Antonia. All of your current Friends care for Du deeply. Don't ever change, buddy. It would be heartbreaking if Du did. I know I would be. Also, your old friend would want Du to be happy. She's in a better place now, and you'll eventually see her again someday. I just know it.
In closing this, remember the lyrics to one of my all-time Favorit Beatles songs: "Any time at all, all Du gotta do is call, and we'll be there."
Peace and love,
~Kelly 🌟🌟🌟

When Greeley's birthday finally arrived, Leila went to Greeley's house. When she knocked on the door, Greeley answered. He said, "Hi, Leila." She said, "Hi, Greeley. Happy eighteenth birthday." She then handed him a card. He said, "Thank you." When he opened the card, the konzert tickets fell out. He said, "You got me konzert tickets!" She said, "Yes, and not just any konzert tickets. I got tickets to see New Religion. They're having an outdoor konzert this evening." He said, "That's bloody amazing. Thank you, Leila." He hugged her. She said, "You're welcome, Greeley." After dinner, they had some cake. Greeley said, "This is the best birthday I've ever had." Leila said, "It's not over yet." He said, "You're right. We have a New Religion konzert to go to." She said, "That's right. We better go if we want to get good parking." He said, "Right." The two Friends got into Greeley's car and headed to the concert.
