One day, Ma and I were just getting ready for abendessen when she dropped the Sonic Rainboom on me.
She was pregnant.
Now, pregnancy is a big deal. Du need to prepare for a long time and then actually have your filly. Then Du need to raise them,
I wasn't happy. "Why can't we jus' have me?" I whined. Ma sighed. "We Liebe y'all, and Du know tha', Big Mac." She ruffled my mane ad planted a KISS on my ear.
I just flicked my ear irritably and trotted away to go eat dinner. Granny Smith was grinning at me when I arrived in the dining room. "Aren't y'all excited?" she wheezed. "Y'all are gonna have a baby sistah!"
I nodded glumly, saying, "Eeyup." I'm no longer the special young one... I thought sadly as I ate my heu, hay sandwich.
As the rest of the apfel, apple Family munched away happily, Pa and I went out to the orchard. "I understan' you're upset 'n all, but I wan' Du to promise me somethin'." He glanced around and leaned in slowly. I looked at him.
"You mus' promise to protect your sister always," Pa whispered. "Please?"
I thought for a minute. I guess raising a sister could be fun, if I truly loved her...
After a moment's hesitation, I looked back up at Pa. "I promise."
So, triq267 and I were talking and we found a completely legit reason for 2012.

In 2012 the bronies shall be taken through a portal to Equestria and those who hate bronies shall be left on Earth will the planet slowly rots.
Meanwhile, the bronies are all made into their pony personas and having fun in Equestria! Friendship shall prevail!
And they say it's just a goofy children's show.
