After taking his hand off the tree, michael turned around and began to head back to his home. But as he walked towards his Home something made him become side tracked. Michael walked right down the long driveway, off to the side covered with trees and brush was a small group of tombstones. The tombstones were so old that michael could not read what any of them said. As he knelt down to try and see if he could read anything on the last tombstone, he noticed the tombstone was blank. At first michael scratched his head confused until he saw on the tombstone to the left of the blank one sagte "Jack" michael then knew the unmarked tombstone was that of his lover. He knew they only did this because she was a slave and back in those days falling for a woman of color had major consequences. Michael got up off of his knees and began walking back towards his home.

When he arrived back at his Home Michael began to think, with all he's found out about Jack and his lover that Jack wasnt killed in a battle during the civil war. The Mehr michael thought about it the Mehr things began to make sense, Jack and his lover were murdered..............
