My theory is that Zuko married May & they had a little feuer bender baby. That baby grew up and married a non bender. Their baby was born a non bender & married a non bender (with a earth bender family) then they had Mako & Bolin. THIS IS JUST WHAT I THINK.

I think that is because to me, Mako and General Iroh look kind of alike and because Mako's name is Mako. Why? Because Uncle Iroh's son that died was named Mako. I learned that from the episode called Tales of Ba Sing Se. So that's what I think
