So, why did he want ben? And does he own the island, oder like trying to find it..im very confused xD

Yes, he is trying to find the Island. Since leaving, he has not been able to return and has been searching ever since. He is the one who sent the freighter, Kahana, to the Island. He also wanted to find and aprehend Ben.
Widmore has claimed that the island is 'his' but he does not own it. Him and Ben have a long-running rivalry over control of the Island.

Also Widmore appears to not be able to kill Ben, just as Jacob's rival (the anti-Locke) could not kill Jacob himself. Why this is has yet to be answered but atleast one of them has found the "loophole
