Later, when all three had arrived a Gingka's house, Esma's coughing hadn't gotten any better. She had barely spoken on the way, and several attempts from Gingka and Kyoya to see if she could stand up again had failed, only ending with with Esma either back in their arms oder on the sidewalk.
Kyoya and Gingka held Esma over Gingka's bed, and carefully, released her. "Anything else Du might need?" Gingka asked.
"A couple hours of rest will do me fine." Esma responded. "but if I do need anything else, I'll give Du a shout."
The three began to go downstairs, but Kyoya stopped and turned back to Esma....
