Latley, there has been alot of Debatte about Huddy and Luddy here on the Huddy spot.

I used to visit this spot Mehr than any other spot on fanpop. I loved Schreiben fics, making images, and squee-ing about Huddy with others who were as obsessed with Huddy as I was.

I still Liebe doing thses things. The only thing that changed when Luddy was introduced was the Huddy spot itself.

When I come here, I feel like I'm diving into a hai tank.

We have people literally *attacking* individual users who aren't even THERE to begin with for doing nothing but not liking Huddy. Huddies on the Luddy spot making anti-Luddy picks than going back to the Huddy spot for yelling at Luddies for just being here.

It all stems from the Frage of who is and who isn't a "true" Huddy fan. I don't believe in this. A Huddy Fan is anyone who is a Fan of the relationship between House and Cuddy. Nothing more. Liking another ship does not make Du any less of a Huddy Fan then someone who only likes Huddy.

I am going to use myself as an example, using (of course) musicals.

I Liebe the musical rent. I also Liebe Weiter to Normal. Loving Weiter to Normal doesn't mean I don't also Liebe Rent.

It's the same with ships on House. And if there is one thing I think this fandom needs to realize, its this:

Huddy is not god.

Just because we have the most Fans of all the House MD ships does NOT give us the right to troll other spots and rain on everyone elses parade.

Pretend, just for a moment, that this was something bigger than just couples on a TV show.

What if it was something more, like a religion oder a way of life.

So before Du post that picks, oder make that comment, oder write that article, ask yourself this:

Would Du go to someones house and physically and verbally attack them just because they believe in something different than yourself?

cheery_blossom I don't think its Shore's fault. I think Luddy is actually a very interesting story line. Its the reactions that have gone to far.

GlassyBlooEyes I believe Shore has created an epidemic O__O A full on internet cat fight. But I agree; there has been some hating...& opinions are opinions but bashing is bashing. ;/

I like Luddy, I think it's a cute ship, and mainly because of all the hate it's getting, I haven't been on the House spots or Huddy one much either because of that.

misanthrope86 I'll repeat my comment that I left in the Huddy spot: [i]THANK YOU. It is great to know that their are (exclusive) Huddy fans who can tolerate other people's opinions and respect that we don't all ship in the same way. No one has to like Luddy (or Huddy for that matter), but I think respecting each other isn't that hard and it would solve a lot of problems and boost the activity in this spot. For example, people like me, and EnjoyHuddy evidently, feel alienated by Huddy fandom because we cannot express our opinions. Picking a Luddy option in a pick led to Huddy fans demanding that Luddy fans declare themselves then get out of the spot. Nevermind that all of those Luddy fans were also Huddy fans. That definitely is exactly the kind of behaviour that you are referring to in this article cherry_blossom, and I am glad that you have talked about it. Whenever a Luddy fans says anything about this, the overall attitude from people has been that we are overreacting and that Huddy fans can say whatever they want about Luddy fans because they have the right to. Thank you for being a Huddy fan that actually cares about fandom and respects others enough to let them be who they are. :)[/i] Also, I don't think this is David Shore's fault. This is the fans fault. He created the show that we love, and sure, we don't love or agree on every aspect of the show, but the way that fans react to these aspects on the show is the problem here in this instance, not the show itself.

rosehustle1 I agree to an extent. However, I have seen people from Hilson and Luddy spots going into the Huddy fan spot and then making nasty picks against Huddy. I also have seen people leave rude messages about the House/Cuddy relationship in the Huddy spot. So, it's not like it's only people from the Huddy spot that are doing negative things. Also if I'm in the Huddy spot I should be able to voice my displeasure about the current Luddy storyline with other Huddy fans. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Just like a person in the Luddy spot should be able to use that forum to talk to other Luddy fans about their displeasure with Huddy. I think it's natural to discuss similar ideas with similar fans without it becoming some huge fight.

eugee__93 I have been kinda insulted for being a Hacy shipper O.O Some Huddy shippers (not everyone luckly) doesn't like you if you are not one of them, they don't respect other ships. But as I already said, not EVERYONE.

cheery_blossom I agree, It's not only Huddies that bash other ships, and I never said it was. And I also think its appropriate to vioce displeasure about alternate ships on a spot without bashing specific [i]users[/i] for liking the ship. Its perfectly OK not to like Luddy and talk about it on the Huddy spot.

huddyislove I agree with one thing: There's a massive cussing going on and there are many people hurt. Tolerance. WORD.
