House can’t Bewegen very well, when he opens his eyes the light blinds him for a moment and then he sees Lisa sleepling Weiter to him. He starts breathing deeply in order to talk but he can’t, then he tries again and whispers her name. ‘Lisa...’
When she hears him, she starts opening her eyes and sees him staring at her, she can barely talk. ‘Greg... Greg! You’re awake. Oh God, thanks!’ She sits up and caresses his face.
‘I'm... how long have I been here...?’
‘You’ve been in a coma for almost two months... God, you’re back!’ She kisses him softly on his forehead. ‘I was really scared... Du remember what happened?’
He remains thinking for a moment. ‘The... car...’
She nods and holds his hand. ‘Yes... Shh, don’t talk... I have to check up that everything is alright.’
‘I feel like if a truck would've been running over me...’
‘Actually it’s what happened...’ Lisa looks at him sadly. ‘I thought I wouldn't see Du awake anymore...’
He smiles slightly at her. ‘You won't get rid of me so easily.’
She chuckles. ‘I've missed Du so much.’
‘Well I haven't...’ Her face changes and she looks at him surprised. ‘'Cause I've been with Du all this time...’
She frowns. ‘What, what do Du mean?...’
‘Hmmm... nothing... just a stupid thing of mine...’
‘I’d like to hear it when Du get better.’ She lies again Weiter to him and hugs him carefully. ‘I couldn’t go away from you, and Wilson stayed with Du some nights too.’
‘Oh no... promise me my arsch is untouched!!!’
Lisa chuckles. ‘Don't worry, your arsch has been safe.’
‘Thank God...’
‘How do Du feel?’
‘Awake at least...’
‘Maybe Du could go Home tomorrow, but Du need to be supervised.’
‘I want Du to supervise me... I don't wanna be with any nurse...’
Cuddy stares at him and smiles. ‘Okay, I’ll stay with you.’
‘Are Du gonna stay here with me tonight?’
‘Sure. I’ve been sleeping here almost all these days hoping Du to wake up, now I can’t go.’
‘Thanks.’ He holds her hand.
‘You don't have to give them.’


They stay there that night and the news that House has woken extends throughout the hospital. The Weiter morning they wake up.
‘Hey, how did Du sleep?’
‘So well that I thought I was in a coma again...’ Antwort him.
‘Don't say that again...’
‘It was only a joke...’ He looks at her in silence.
‘Well... so, you’re ready to go home?’
‘I just can't wait.’
‘I think Du shouldn’t be alone at least for a few days... Du wanna go to your house oder mine?’
‘Yours. Mine's a bit depressing.’
‘Okay. Let me help Du with that.’ She helps him to dress up.
House’s head, back, and leg really hurt. ‘Where's my vicodin?’ Cuddy looks for the vicodin in her geldbörse and gives him one pill, which he stares at and then at her. ‘I'm not asking for a candy. I'm asking for a painkiller.’
‘You've just awakened from a coma, I have to control your vicodin dose.’
‘And I have to control my pain. Give me another vicodin.’
She sighs and gives him another pill. ‘I'm not gonna give Du anymore pills, Du shouldn't abuse.’
‘I'm old enough to know how many pills I need and I can dose myself with it the way I want.’
‘No, Du can’t. Greg, now I am the doctor and Du the patient, let me do my job.’
‘Thanks, but technically, I'm not a patient anymore.’ He stands up and takes his cane.
Cuddy stands up after him. ‘Then shall we go home?’
He nods and they leave to her home.


When they get there, she opens the door and they sit down in the sofa.
‘How do Du feel?’ Asks Cuddy.
‘Weird...’
‘In what sense?’
‘In every possible sense.’
‘You need something? Are Du hungry? Thirsty?’
‘I'm... lost...’
Lisa hugs him and lies her head on his shoulder. ‘I've been Lost without you.’ He hugs her strongly and they stay that way for a while. ‘What did Du feel while Du were in a coma? Du knew we were there?’
‘Not really... it was like... if I had been dreaming... not dreaming exactly... but remembering something I had forgotten.’
‘Something real? What was it?’
‘I remembered... when we were in Michigan... while we were universität students.’
‘When we met for the first time?’ She breathes deeply. ‘It was one of the best moments of my life... I should have told Du so many things that I didn't...’
‘You don't have to... It was like if I was living it again...’
‘Everything?’
‘Absolutely everything.’ Nods House.
‘I’m not proud of some things I did...’
‘Me either but I think we got through it...’
‘Yes, I guess...’ She remains thinking. ‘I just remember a few things... I remember the first time I met you, Du hit me on my shoulder...’
He chuckles. ‘Yeah...’
‘You’ve always been a jerk, and a pimp...’
‘Guilty.’
‘...But I’ve always liked you.’ Says Lisa in a lower voice.
He smiles and kisses her gently.
‘I don't know how I could forget all that...’
‘You mean New Year’s Eve? Now Du know what happened, don’t you?’
‘Yeah, I know... I forgot so many things...’
‘It’s normal, it happened twenty five years ago... But there's a thing that I won't forget, our last night there, when Du came and we slept together.’
‘That was actually the last thing I remembered and then I woke up...’
‘After that Tag I didn't see Du until many years later...when Du were dating Stacy.’
He nods and sighs. ‘So... how was it going these two months? What did I miss?’
‘I’ve been with Du almost all the time… Well, Foreman is on charge Von now.’
‘Foreman? Oh no!! Now that he has tested the savour of power he won't give me my job back!!’
‘Of course he will. When Du are fully recovered.’
They stay in silence huged. ‘I’ve missed you’ Says Cuddy.
‘Don’t worry... I’m not going anywhere.’
