Do Du think petunie, petunia loved Harry?

I think she loved him some amount - the fact that she nearly sagte good luck to him before she left in Deathly Hallows suggests this, as does the fact that she never did kick him out of the house. I think she regretted not fixing her relationship with Lily before her sister died, and Harry was almost her way of making up for that. Possibly even her attempts to "squish" the magic out of Harry when he was a child was partially an attempt to protect him from the dangers of the magical world.

But as Du said, I think she also let her jealousy and prejudices get in the way.

I feel like she didn't. Which is harsh but I always felt as though her (very hidden) Liebe for her sister and respect for her death was the only reason she did it.

I think Harry, looking so much like his father and being a wizard, was was the epitome of everything that petunie, petunia felt took Lily away from her and ultimately destroyed their relationship (since I don't believe for a Sekunde that petunie, petunia would be willing to take the blame; she's far too stubborn). Which of course isn't Harry's fault in any way I think it was only that that made petunie, petunia willingly keep Harry.

Probably. She probably didn't want to Zeigen it because he reminded her so much of her mother, how she was so jealous of her sister, how jealous she would be of him. She might've been scared what Vernon would say after they read the letter when he was put on their doorstep, because he was happy being perfectlt normal, thank Du very much, and he didn't want a baby getting in the way of that. So, I think petunie, petunia does Liebe Harry, in some extent, but doesn't want to Zeigen it, because of her jealousy of her sister, what Vernon might think, oder Dudley- she wouldn't want to share her Liebe with both of them. Vernon probably got really mad when he started seeing the signs of magic when Harry was a baby, and he probably scared Dudley- they wouldn't like that at all. Petunia's Liebe and jealousy is probably being controlled Von Vernon. But overall, I think she does Liebe him and doesn't Zeigen it.

Yes, but it's a little twisted way of loving him. She took care of him, fed him, dressed him, gave him a room. She cared because it was family, but she didn't Zeigen it
