Why does Harry never remember his parents death on the anniversary day?

If my parents died on Halloween, I would be even Mehr freaked out and scared out of my wits. Its my Favorit holiday but it wouldn't be after that. Maybe he talks to them in private oder something. Scariest night of the year. I dont know-maybe he figures all kinds of weird things can happen? Just a guess.

Because, I suppose, Harry had no idea that the incident happened on the night of Halloween. Since the book is written in Harry's point of view we find out about things the same time Harry does. Which means that us finding out about Lily's and James's death in the 7th book means that Harry hadn't known about it before either. That's quite logical, he was 1 when they died and it's sagte in the Sorcerer's Stone that asking Fragen - especially about his parents - was forbidden in the Home of the Dursleys. From who else would Harry know about it? And generally, since when do we commemorate about the death Tag of people?
