Can prefects take points?

Prefects can take points. I think Ron sagte prefects can't take points from /other prefects/ in the fifth book. They're perfectly entitled to dock points from any other students.

prefects can not take points. there was only one way a student could take points and that was in the fifth book when umbrige gave the power to her oben, nach oben students

Prefects can not take points.. Percy only sagte that to scare ron, plus if Du hadn't noticed that whenever someone actually takes points they say five points from slitherin oder something like that

may be the head boy oder head prefect can dock points and maybe percy was one oder maybe he sagte it to scare ron as he was his brother oder something...

actually, prefects cannot take points. when malfloy became prefect, he mentioned that he wished he could take a few hundred points from gryphendor(sp?). the only time that students besides head boy/girl could take/give points was when umbridge made the inquisitorial squad. as for percy, he didn't take away points, he was probably just threatening to, because ron wouldn't have known that he couldn't do it. oder maybe he was just messing with his brother, although, percy doesn't seem to be the type who would "mess around" persay.

I think what Ron meant was that Du can't take points off other prfects cauz when he mentions it, he was in a fight with Malfoy... i'm not 100% sure though...

I suppose u r mistaken there. Prefects can take off points(especially puffed-up prefects like Percy oder gits like Malfoy would Liebe to take off points) In part5, Ron reminds Malfoy that prefects can't take off points from other prefects.Fair enough,isn't it?

In the gamecube games they can. So I think they can but I think there's certain rules for it, I'm not too sure.

maybe it's just that (sorry ron) ron isn't the smartest...
