Not really. Their relationship was kind of random:
Book 1: Met her for five seconds, didn't really pay much attention to her.
Book 2: Didn't really pay much attention to her until he needed to save her life.
Book 3: Didn't pay any/much attention to her.
Book 4: Didn't pay much attention to her.
Book 5: Didn't pay a lot of attention to her, but did realize she talks around him.
Book 6: "Ohmigah, I lurves her!"

I think Harry would have been suited with Luna. Someone who he actually spent time with and got to know throughout the series. Hermione would have been good too.

Ginny is the best for Harry.I agree that it was quite sudden.But if Du have read the 2nd book,it is clear that Ginny has a crush on Harry.But he does not notice her,not till the 6th year.Before that he was with Cho Chang.Ginny was always in Liebe with Harry,but when she goes out with other boys,Harry gets jealous.So I think Harry and Ginny are the best couple

I dont like Ginny, and i dont no how the hell she ended up with Harry, when Lesen the Bücher i thought hermione was better suited though i dont mind the Ron and hermione pairing, there ok together, if i had it my way of the pairings i would have Ron/Luna, Harry/Hermione and Ginny/Neville, :)

Ginevra molly Weasley, is first, and foremost, a Mary Sue. She's so sporty, she's so beautiful, so many guys want to be her girlfriend, she's so rebellious...Gag me.

Harry never thought of her as an actual crush until the sixth book where he suddenly has a monster in his chest. And why would he ever want to be with her. They have nothing in common. Where can they relate? Oh right, it's because Ginny's so f***ing perfect, like her bat-bogey curses.

Now, Ginny is practically the one thing that disappointed me throughout the entire series. I would have preferred it if she was never even created.

The person I really wanted Harry to end up with, was Luna Lovegood. Luna believed Harry, and stood Von him, never wavering. She is brave, smart and eccentric, just what Harry needs, not like the Ginny Sue. Luna knows the pain of loss, and is perfect for Harry. If J.K had only paired Harry with Luna, everything in the HP-verse would have been great. Truly great.

Yeah, I actually liked their relationship. But it is kinda random, like a lot of people say - except for the fact that they got a lot closer in OotP, especially with the DA and stuff. Without that it would probably have been kinda weird...

No, I think, like a lot of people say, it's random. I think Harry would've been better off with Hermionie and Ron with Luna. I find it awkward that Harry and Ginny randomly fell in love. Like, I knew Ginny liked Harry, but Harry? It's kinda awkward and strange.

I think overrall, yes. To me it was kind of weird at first with her being Ron's younger sister and all, but I think they are good together and have a lot in common.

Before I knew that Ron and Hermione got together, I always kind of expected him to end up with Hermione for some reason.

Although, Luna is adorable in her own dreamy sort of way and I thought they looked pretty cute at Slughorn's party together. I like her with Neville though.

I think Harry and Hermione should have ended up together, they're a Mehr balanced couple. The Ginny pairing came out of nowhere and I sorta felt like it was just to pair Harry up with a character people already knew. Personally, I thought Harry and Hermione should have been together, and Ron either with somebody outside of Hogwarts, oder I guess Luna. I mean come on, Harry and Hermione's couple name is Harmony, Du can't beat that.

In my opinion, I saw all (like what? 2 relationships) that Harry had to be awkward and inconvenient.
He has always been pretty asexual in my head. I get why J.K. Rowling wanted him to end up with someone, but it seems like there is some sort of oedipus complex in there that he married someone who looks like his mother.

I think it's incredibly artificial that Rowling brought Harry and Ginny together. I can't think of why she'd done that. To make Harry Ron and Hermione all relatives is the most unrealistic thing. Only because 3 people spent 7 years together the have to end up one family? Of course, of course Du couldn't avoid Ron and Hermione all morons could see that coming, but why to mix Harry and Ginny into that, I have no idea. Their relationship is kind of... unknown of. I always read, yeah, Harry was hanging out with Ginny and yeah, Ginny had to learn, but we never quite got to know WHAT the hell they were doing together (don't get me wrong, I'm only suggesting walking, talking, playing wizard games etc, nothing dirty), and WHY did they like each other so much? However, that's still not the thing that makes their relationship 100% unrealistic. That's, ladies and gentlemen, is that Ginny fell in Liebe with Harry when she was TEN freaking years old and kept loving him for the rest of her life. Harry would definitely be better with a Zufällig girl, oder if that's too complicated for the plot, then Luna. But that'd still be a little odd.
