If James Potter was not in the story,would Du want lily and Snape together? And Harry as their son?

If Snape and Lily were to get together, Harry would not have ever been born. So, no it would have been impossible.

This is similar to my pick question, Yes. I would. I would have it exactly the same as it is except with a twist. Lily either is Married to Snape and they were separated because he chose to be a deatheater oder something and then she dies and Harry lives, while Snape thinks both of them died. Then Eleven years later Harry shows up at Hogwarts and when they meet eyes like in the movie Snape wonders if that is his son. Because of lily's eyes. But since he is the chosen one and a Gryffendor treats him the same until the end when he finds out thats his son. Sort of a Luke/Vader vibe but different.

If Lily and Snape were together I think Snape would be a different man. He wouldn't be as cold and bitter. He would;ve spent time with his true love. I do Liebe Lily and Snape together. I think it's terribly romantic. Anywayz, yes.Snape would be a changed man. If the story had played out just as it had in the books, then Snape would have died instead of James. Who knows? Maybe James would've ended up as the bitter potions master becuase he got the girl of his dreams taken away from him. Maybe he would've been a death eater...but probably Lupin and Sirius would'be stopped him. Though, Wormtail might've gotten to him in the end. Oh! Then Sirius and Lupin might still be alive. Becuase Sirius wouldn't be Harry's godfather. Though Harry would then loose that relationship...
So that is what I think would happen. They would switch places...

I highly doubt the story would have been the same. Snape would never have been a Death Eater, and therefore, if Harry (who wouldn't be Harry) was born at all, Snape wouldn't have been there to over hear the prophecy, and therefore, Voldemort wouldn't have been trying to kill Harry. And even if someone else overheard the prophecy, Voldemort would have killed both Lily and Snape to get to Harry, therefore, Snape would never have been in the books.

yes i would! snape and lilly woukd have been good together and it might have happened if not for james.harry wiuld have been loved Von two wonderful parents and then he probally wouldnt have had the problem with the dark lord. i think that i would have worked out nicley.

hmm, well its hard because though severous LOVED Lily with all his heart, even before Lily started 2 like james he decided 2 choose the dark side (which was full of people who would kill Lily 4 her blood stat). so he chose revenge over Lily, so i'm not sure how good of a father he would be, esp if his 'dream' job was 2 kill muggles and muggle born's(like Lily). He also beleved all (exept Lily) muggle borns where skum. Just because his dad was horrible and was a muggle, ment to severous all muggles where bad, and he wouldent give them a chance but even if his dad was a wizard his dad still would be a bad man.
