As soon as the smoke cleared, Lexii and Julien saw Rico standing in the doorway with a stick of dynamite in his flippers. The two lemurs coughed and sat up.
Rico up chucked two blankets and Skipper caught them as he ran into the freezer. He wrapped Lexii in a blanket first then did the same with Julien.
"Are Du two okay?" Skipper asked as he quickly led them out of the freezer.
"Yeah, we're fine. J-just really cold." Lexii replied, pulling the blanket tighter around her shoulders. She caught Julien looking at her out of the corner of his eye. She met his gaze then quickly looked away.
The Minute they stepped outside into the sunlight they started warming up. Lexii closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of warmth on her fur. She took a deep breath and let the blanket fall off her. She fluffed out her pelz and shook her tail, taking in every ounce of sunshine.
Julien watched her. He loved her and he had told her that. And he saw in the way she looked at him that she loved him too. But she wouldn't let herself admit it. Julien needed to find a way to let her know that it was okay to fall in love.
Once warmed up, the two lemurs were sprawled out in the gras, grass at the lemur habitat. Lexii was thinking about Julien and her. She was so scared to be in love. She had never in her life felt this way, and it didn't feel bad but it was just different. Lexii sighed and rolled over in the grass. She didn't even know HOW to be in love. Was it something Du had to practice oder was it just Schauspielen on instinct. She just didn't know and nothing scared her Mehr that not knowing.
Suddenly she felt a tap on her arm. She rolled on her back to see Julien standing over her.
"Hey, can we talk?" he sagte softly.
Lexii stood up. "Sure. What is it?" she asked even though she knew the answer.
"Can we talk in the park?" Julien asked, eyeing Maurice who was cleaning the bouncey. He obviously didn't want him to hear what was going to be said.
Lexii nodded and they started walking.

"Eurika! It's done!" kowalski burst out the lab with a small box in hand. Attached to the box was a long string with a helm on the end.
"skipper?" e called.
Silence.
"skipper, rico, private where are Du guys?"
Mehr silence.
Kowalski ran to Marlene's place.
"Marlene have Du seen skipper?" kowalski panted as he chocked out his words.
"yeah, I saw them being carried off Von some big animals." she answered.
"and amber?"
"I last saw her with that new guy. I dot know what happened to her-"
Kowalski left before she could finish the sentance.
Kowalski searched the entire park, the whole city, and just about all of manhattan.
Nothing.
He searched via radio waves, radar, Nd a lot of other things.
Still nothing.
He worried for hours.
Until he realized exactly what happened, and who done it.
