Amber and skipper waddled to Hans, unconscious for the Sekunde time that day.
"is he gonna be okay?" amber asked.
"oh, he'll live." skipper answered.
" I dunno, that's an aweful lotta blood. I dont think it's healthy to loose that much." amber protested.
"HE'LL BE FINE!" skipper yelled.
"skipper!" amber yelled back, "I know medic!" she shouted.
Kowalski walked over, a bunch of scrap metal piled in his arms. "a little help?" he asked, the mountain of robot parts about to topple. Skipper and amber each grabbed a pile, forgetting about Hans. They boarded the elevator and rode to the main level. They dropped the metal in the lab.
"what are Du gonna use this for?" skipper asked kowalski.
Kowalski smiled and said, "I don't know!" he close d the door on amber and skipper.

Amber awoke to a door slam. Then she heard te familiar voices of skipper and Hans, once again fighting. She looked at the clock. 1:14 in the morning. She shouldn't be up yet. But, nonetheless, amber crept to the door. He pressed her head against the wood, and listened:
"... Hadn't left me there!" Hans yelled.
"well, I was telling amber Du were gonna be fine!" skipper shouted.
"MY CHEST WAS BLEEDING!!!" Hans screamed, very loudly.
Skipper shushed him, "every one else is still in bed!" he fussed, "and besides, Du survived, didn't you?" skipper asked, in a quieter tone.
"you always fill that girl's head with lies! Why? Are Du trying to get her killed?" Hans said, as loud as he could while whispering.
"like how?" skipper asked plainly.
"she has to actually experience something! Ever since we hired her, you've put WAY less weight on her than Du did the rest of us!" hand protested.
"she's a girl, for one," skipper sagte wanly, "and second, she had a bad history." skipper said, sympathetically.
"just because someone turned her in as a child?" Hans asked.
"you." skipper said. "you turned her in. Du were her oldest brother, supposed to take care of her!"
"he's talking about me like I'm a child!" amber openly exclaimed. For a Sekunde she could hear the questioning silence from outside. Then she heard Hans and skipper whisper some things, followed Von the door owning and. Losing, and then footsteps walking toward her room.
Amber panicked. She jumped into her bed, pulled the covers on, and put a kissen over her head.
"amber," skipper said, "you up?"
Mber stayed silent.
"I know Du were listening," he said, tauntingly.
Amber threw the covers off and walked to the door. Opening it she said, "you treat me like a child!" she walked out her room, then across the way to he front door. She slammed the door on the way out.

Amber headed to the fuchs höhle, den a walk away from the cabin. She found shine asleep, her pelz a Rapunzel – Neu verföhnt mess.
"and what happens to you?" she asked,, watching shine wake up.
"ugh," she groaned, "I chased a rabbit for miles. I slipped in mud, on rocks, and in stuff I don't wanna talk about." shoe shivered.
"you know we always have extra," amber reassured her. "and can I ask Du a question?" she added. Amber felt wierd talking her problems out with a fuchs kit, but shine was the only one she could trust.
"sure, whatcha need?" shine said, enthusiastically.
"what would Du do if your life don't make sense, Du didn't know who to love, who to hate? What if... What Du couldn't figure anything out?" amber asked, still feeling wierd.
"well," shine thought for a second. "my mother used to always tell me, 'a road is never straight, and a mountain's never flat.'" she started playing with her tail.
"so, she meant... What did she mean, I have no clue?" amber replied.
"she meant that Du never know what's gonna happen, oder where it'll lead you." she smiled, then curled up into a ball of red-orange fur.
Amber nodded, thinking. She walked back to the cabin, and lay down in bed. She soon fell asleep, but she couldn't stay still. She fidgeted all night long, wondering what would happen to her...
