I use to live in Florida with my mom. I never did care for it. Everyone always sagte I was lucky to be living in florida... but what's so lucky about living in a place where Du have to take cover every hour, just in case the tornato oder huricane hits your side of town? And it was always way too hot than what it should've be. One time it was a houndred degrees. We were lucky enough that our air conditioner at Home didnt give out on us. We saw probably twenty repair vans on our straße alone. I cant imagine how many people had to work that day, just to get everyones air conditioner, who called in, working.
My dad died when I was nine. Car Accident.
I turned 16 two weeks ago. And now its my turn to drive. Im terrified. My mom tells me I'm being paranoid. Oh well.

"Maddie! Will Du help me with the bags?!" That would be my mom. We look almost identical.
My mom has dark brown hair, while mines lighter. Her hair is croped short in the back and as it comes vorwärts-, nach vorn it gets longer. Mine is just regular...straight and comes down a little past my shoulders. Me and my mom both have bangs that hang down straight just touching our eyebrows. Her eyes are baby blue just like mine. She is a little less than a head taller than me, while I'm right now stuck at 5"5.
"Sure." My voice didnt sound as excited as it should of been. I mean were not living in florida...so why am I not happy? Probably because it will still all be the same when I got to this new highschool. No one will talk to me... I of course wont stand out, like usual. I will just be hidden in the shadows.
