1. Congratulations! How does it feel to be Fan of the Month?
Thank you! It feels awesome! It was really exciting because it meant my contributions were well accepted and people thought they were good.
2. Your Favorit Princess and why?
As always, Mulan. I just absolutely Liebe her. She's smart and Merida - Legende der Highlands and selfless. I Liebe her character and her transformation. I Liebe how she goes from the awkward, clumsy girl in the beginning to the confident woman in the end. My Favorit thing about that is that all of her traits and personality in the beginning is still there in the end, she has just learned to accept them. I Liebe her darker sides of bitterness, disorganization, martyrdom, and Mehr subtle downfalls of her character. My Favorit thing is her struggle in character and how she has to discover who she is- and in the end, she fails just as much pretending to be a perfect man. She has to be completely herself to succeed. I Liebe that she struggles to find herself, because it's so realistic. Du shouldn't have asked me why, I always give essays when asked why I Liebe Mulan.
3. Your least Favorit Princess and why?
I'm not sure, my Liste is changing right now. I've got it down to one of three though- Jasmine, Merida, oder Cinderella. jasmin because she's a hypocrite who lets Aladin treat her like "a prize to be won." Merida is going to be really difficult to place- she's a really interesting, compelling character, but I don't really LIKE her much, so it will be difficult for me to decide whether I place her based on her complexity oder likability. Aschenputtel is just unlucky. Lately, I've begun to appreciate all of the princesses more- except Cinderella. Well, I do appreciate her more, just to a lesser extent. It's really because I can't get emotionally involved in her movie.
4. Your Favorit Prince and why?
Shang. I Liebe his selflessness, bravery, and development from arrogant new captain to strong leader. I also Liebe his complex with his father.
5. Your least Favorit Prince and why?
Charming. I think he’s a jerk for the same reasons everybody does, and he doesn’t even learn Cinderella’s name. He’s also just so stilted and has such a bland personality (from what we see.)
6. Your Favorit DP villain and why?
Either Evil Queen oder Shan Yu. Evil Queen because I just Liebe her creepiness and find her really elegantly diabolical, I can’t really describe it. Shan Yu because of THE LITTLE GIRL.
7. Your least Favorit DP villain and why?
I think Gaston, almost because I like him. He isn’t either fierce and intimidating (Shan Yu) oder charismatic and elegant (Maleficent, Facilier.) I don’t really know, though.
8. Your Favorit DP movie and why?
Mulan. I Liebe the humor, the story, the characters, the music, the animation- I just really Liebe this movie. It’s my all-time favorite. I especially Liebe the way gender issues are addressed- there is a lot of good humor (you know when Du get those manly urges,) but it also handled really well. Mulan doesn’t fit perfectly in either, and I really like that.
9. If Du could chose one Disney heroine to be in the line-up, who would it be? Where would they rank on your pretty Liste and Favorit list?
Objectively, Esmeralda oder Jane would probably be the best. I’d pick Jane of the two. Since my Liste is changing, I don’t know where she’d rank, but probably in the oben, nach oben five. She’d be 3rd (above Mulan) oder 4th (above Ariel) in prettiness. If I just picked who I wanted, it would be Kida. I Liebe how she gives up herself for her people. I Liebe her devotion to keeping her people’s culture alive. I just really Liebe Kida. She and Pocahontas would be constantly fighting for 2 (I think Pocahontas would usually win.) She’d either be 4th (above Ariel again) oder 5th (above Snow White) in prettiness.
10. Which Princess do Du relate to most and why?
Belle. I also like Lesen and feel like an outcast, all the normal reasons. I also hate my community, I’m surrounded Von superficial snobs. However, I also think I am like Belle in Mehr significant ways. Like Belle, I have difficulty expressing my real feelings with people. I tend to talk around things (like when Belle called Gaston a bunch of names he wouldn’t understand.) I also would be like Belle in that I will defend myself even when I know I’m in the wrong. I also think I can be a bit of an intellectual snob, like Belle. Like Belle, I also feel that my learning separates me from people- I’m almost never invited to things with my friends. I also relate to Rapunzel because I feel like the way my mind works isolate me from others.

- Prettiest? Pocahontas!
- Funniest? Rapunzel, maybe?
- Smartest? Mulan. She takes down the greatest warlord with her fan.
- Nicest? Snow White
- Most underrated? Aurora
- Favorit Singen voice? Pocahontas
- Least Favorit Singen voice? Ariel SHE SINGS THROUGH HER NOSE
- Most annoying? Merida oder jasmin (for claiming to be all independent-tough-girl and needing to get saved all the time)

12. Your Favorit DP couple and why?
Tiana and Naveen. I just Liebe them, and have no real good reason why! I Liebe their chemistry, though.
13. Your least Favorit DP couple and why?
Aschenputtel and Charming. I’ve convinced myself Aschenputtel was being and opportunist falling in Liebe with Charming because I dislike the pair so much.
14. Your Favorit DP song and why?
I Wonder oder Just Around the Riverbend. I feel like they are very different songs that both convey similar messages of wanting discovery and to know more.
15. Your least Favorit DP song and why?
When Will My Life Begin Reprise. Bad tune of the original with “like” thrown in as a verbal pause in one of the most tender moments of the movie. Frustrates me.

Ariel. I think I would really Liebe her enthusiasm and we would both Liebe exploring together. I also think we both have a lot of fascination.
22. Which DP do Du think Du would not get along with and why?
Merida, probably. I think I’d roll my eyes at her a lot. I don’t know, though.
23. Favorit crossover couple? (the princess with another Disney character oder prince)
I’m not big into crossover.
24. Have Du ever been to any of the Disney theme parks? Which one? If not, which one would Du like to go to?
Disneyland. I want to go to Disneyworld to see New Fantasyland and meet a Mulan face character.
25. What are your hopes on...
- Fanpop? That this sight continues to be active and that we continue to address Mehr thought-provoking topics
- Frozen? I just want it to be a good movie that doesn’t knock off Tangled. And that Elsa isn’t included in the lineup.
- Future Disney movies? Lately I’ve been coming up with some ideas for a story about Macchu Picchu (that’s probably not spelled right.) I think that could be really cool. But I just want them to step outside their comfort zone Mehr and not restrict themselves in their stories the way they have done in the past.
