They both laughed together.
Long John Silver stepped from the ship and stretched his cyborg and flesh limbs. It had been a long, long journey but he was finally back on good old Earth, amid a sea of people waiting for their loved ones to return from sea and Weltraum alike. He could hear joyful shouts of those reunited and mournful wails of those whose loves ones had never returned.
“Long John!” A woman with erdbeere blonde hair hurtled towards him, her brown rock and white schürze flapping around her knees, and flung her lithe arms around his neck.
Silver laughed and hugged his best friend back. “Hello, Ella!”
