It was well after sunset when Aschenputtel woke up. Cinderella's stomach grumbled. She hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast. She walked to the door and opened it. She looked left and right down the empty hallway. Her stomach grumbled again a little louder. "I'm not going to find anything to eat in here." She sagte and quietly closed the door as she stepped into the hallway. With her stomach still rumbling she wandered off to find the küche to eat something.

Cogsworth knocked on the door to the masters bedroom. After no response Cogsworth opened the door gently and peaked in. "Hello? Hello? Master? Are Du here?" Cogsworth walked into the room in Suchen for the master. But the room was empty, as was the balcony. "Hmmm.... Oh NO!" Cried Cogsworth, he rushed out of the room to find Mrs. Potts and Lumiere.

"Do Du think she could be the one? The one to break the spell? Lumiere asked Mrs. Potts as she hopped beside him down the hall.

After a quiet moment she answered "I don't know. Only time will tell." Lumiere contemplated that and sagte no Mehr as they headed to Cinderella's room. They arrived at the room and knocked on the door. "Mademoiselle. We have come to check on you? Are Du alright?" Asked Lumiere. After no response Mrs. Potts chimed in "We've come to see how you've settled in. Dearie we thought Du might be hungry?" Still no response. They were just about to open the door when Cogsworth rushed around the corner. Huffing and puffing he came to a stop in front of them. "Why ever is the matter?" Asked Mrs. Potts in concern. Cogsworth tried to answer but nothing but panting came out. "Take a breath man and spit it out." sagte Lumiere. Cogsworth took several deep breaths and tried to calm himself. It helped a little. Cogsworth managed to say "I went to the masters room. He " "So Du told him. Good. How did he take it?" Asked Lumiere. "No no. He wasn't there. I didn't get to tell him." sagte Cogsworth letting what he sagte sink in. "Oh. OH." Cried Mrs. Potts. Turning back to Cinderella's door. "Dear? Are Du in there?" She asked. No response. "Maybe she fell asleep." Lumiere added. The three of them opened the door and gingerly peaked in. They found the room empty. "Oh no!" sagte Lumiere.

After walking for a bit Aschenputtel found herself back in the front hall. "I knew I could find it." She sagte aloud to herself. "Hmmm.... Which way to the kitchen?" Aschenputtel heard a noise a whirled to see what it was. Nothing was there. Feeling like she was being watched she called aloud "Hello? Who's there?" She looked left and right and turned around several times, but she found no one and no response came. Still feeling like she was being watched she walked toward a hallway at one end of the hall. A noise came behind her again and she acted like she didn't hear it. This happened two Mehr times and on the fourth time she turned around quickly to catch who it was before they could disappear. When she did she was shocked at what she saw. A tall dark shadow stood in front of her. All she could see was a pair of blue eyes starring back at her.
