When I daydream
I unleash a Fantasy world
Where Wölfe greet me
And happiness unfolds.
Schokolade rivers
And marshmallow trees,
Away from the complication
That is reality.

Sitting at my desk
Staring blankly at my page,
Doodling in the margain
This classroom is a cage.
So instead I look out the window
And smile to myself,
I transport to a faraway land
With the Elfen and the elves.

On earth things are ordinary
There's a word called 'impossible',
But in my world it doesn't exist
I can grow wings and fly and swirl.
I can jump up to the stars
There can be no gravity,
I control what happens
In my little world Du see.

I believe it so much it becomes so real
And I mutter to myself,
Everyone thinks I'm crazy
But I'm content with that.
I Liebe my imagination
I can be whoever I want to be,
I can have all I've longed for
And I can live where I please.

But then someone slams a ruler
They're glaring in my eyes,
They tell me to snap out of it
To stop telling myself silly lies.
But I know that I can't stop
I belong in Neverland,
I want to escape to Hogwarts,
They don't understand.

But I pity them really
Without imagination what do they do?
Pretending is far Mehr fun
When you're with Mike and Boo.
Who want to stay in the present?
Not me for sure,
I prefer my mind thanks
Because reality is a bore!
