New TVD season coming and we need good ratings!

Season 3 of the Vampire Diaries begins on September 15th on the CW 8/7c(8:00pm Eastern Time and 7:00pm Central Time USA).

Hello fellow TVD fans!We are less than a week away from episode 3x01 titled "The Birthday"and I know that the excitement is too much to handle.Lets recap a little bit ,shall we?

Waaaaaay back in May "As I Lay Dying"was one of the most anticipated episodes of season 2 and there is a reason why!Actually scrap that...There were many reasons!
1.The Ripaaaaah! - Stefan was responsible for Damon becoming a vampire in 1864 so when he found out that his brother was bitten Von a werewolf he felt obligated to find a cure.Even if [To quote Katherine Pierce in 2x22]he had to sacrifice everything including Elena to save his bro.In the penultimate scene we see how Stefan was fighting the Rippah inside of him and in the end he gave in.
2.The Delena KISS ❤- need to say more?
3.Jeremy and his dead girlfriends.To keep it short - Jeremy died ,he was brought back to life and now he could audition on linkthe remake.That last scene in the S2F was so shocking that I even had to Suchen for my jaw on the floor.When I first saw the back of Vicky , I thought it was Katherine.But then when they showed her infront I was like "What.the.hell's going on?"Then Jeremy went downstairs with Vicky following silently in the back (spooky)and he saw Anna , my facial expression was link

After such a finale I was surprised that it only got like 2 and something million Ansichten live.And yes I am aware that TVD was up against American Idol but there are other reasons.Many residents in the USA don't realy know when TVD airs so they watch it on the Internet and others tend to DVR the Zeigen and then later watch it.

But are ratings even important?
Yes, they are really important.They are the reason whether TVD gets renewed oder cancelled , whether the CW will increase the Zeigen budget, whether Elena will wear the same blue sweater all season ,whether we receive good edited oder bad edited episodes , whether we get good actors(guest starring actors oder even regulars) ,whether we get amazingly decorated sets,whether we get good effects on an episode and so on.As Du can see ratings are Mehr important than they seem.And if Du don't believe me check Ian Somerhalder's tweets from April , 7th saying that watching the Zeigen live will secure its future.

But TVD is the number one rated Zeigen on the CW at this moment.
True , but compared to the ratings we had at the begining of season 2 and the whole season 1 we won't be soon (Shows like Ringer and The Secret kreis have the potential of getting us of the throne)+The higher the ratings, the better we get =)
Ok.So how do we help in getting Mehr viewers?

1.WATCH THE Zeigen LIVE!DON'T DVR IT AND THEN WATCH LATER. Du can DVR the Zeigen but watch it live! Please if Du have the chance - do it.

2.I heard that the CW channel is rare in the USA.You can watch it online when it's airing.Here is a link link (Thanks Jendelena again for the link ^^)[b]

3.Promotion.The CW can make 10000 promos but the truth is that Fans have a big part in making the Zeigen famous.No wonder everytime there is an award Zeigen the actors say that they wont be here if it wasn't for us.If Du follow some of teh advices bellow it might help TVD get Mehr Fans = Mehr views:

- Tell your Friends that TVD is a great Zeigen and it deserves a shot =)

- link TVD on Facebook.It may not seem important but when your fb Friends chech your Profil they will see that Du "like" TVD and they may give it a chance.

- Give Antwort to people who ask when does TVD air.Believe you'll be surprised how many residents in the USA don't know when TVD airs and on what channel airs.

- Favouriting TVD Videos on Youtube also helps.Because late they appear on the front Youtube page of your yt Friends and subscribers.

- Talking about TVD on twitter ,tumblr ,myspace and all other social networks helps =)

Why should I watch episode 1 of Season 3?

Well if the ratings aren't a good reason for Du then Lesen this link(spoiler alert for those who don't want to be spoiled) of the episode will help you.Or watching link amazing promo oder link mind blowing one.The episode will also feature Elena's birtday,The Rippah going on a murder spree with Klaus,lots of Delena scenes,Naked Damon,Forwood(Warning:You gotta take a cold dusche after seeing them in the promo),Catt,Alaric (the chunky monkey's back),Jeremy dealing with Anna and Vicky ,lots of blood and hotness,Bonnie or/and Katherine (hopefully!) and ofcourse I haven't forgotten Du Stelena fans.Even though I know some of Du want to boycott the Zeigen because of the many DE scenes coming up (which I don't mind lol) As a DE Fan I think that Julie and Kevin will feature one oder atleast 2 good scenes for you!(Otherwise how do Du explain that pic from the set?) =)And if thats not enough, from the gathered info I have from interviews, Elena is not giving up on Stefan just yet.She will have him on her mind during her Birthday for sure.

delenasalvatore I really REALLY hope the ratings go back up to 3 million+. The first half of the season got good ratings, until 2x14, when the numbers dropped to 2.78 million (according to Wikipedia). The next episode saw the ratings regain 3 million, and from 2x16 the numbers slowly declined. 2x16 received JUST under 3 million, 2x17 fell to 2.73, 2x18 saw a slight rise (2.81), 2x19 got 2.70, and 'The Last Day' received 2.68 but the last 2 episodes did better pulling in 2.84 and 2.86 million respectively. It's not that bad, because the ratings did begin to go back up, but they need to get better. I live in the UK, and I unfortunately can't watch it live, but I think the new season premiere will see the ratings return to what they were at the start of last season. If not, then it's OK, as long as they remain steady throughout. If the numbers dwindle more and more over time, then that would be a big concern, but I don't think the CW would ever pull the plug on a show this big. Let's remember that its airing globally, and that's bound to be a factor as well.

So after the last episode was aired the Damon hate started again. Over what? Damon saying to Elena, “Let me be clear about something. If it comes down to Du and the witch again I will gladly let Bonnie die. I will always choose you.”

The hate doesn’t make any sense. Ok so Damon was sweet and nice to Bonnie. I bet some Fans thought that he cared about her but guess what? He never cared about her!
