I think it's a manip. They both look very strange in the photo, Damon's skin tone doesn't match. It looks like whoever made this used the scene in 1x03 when Caroline wakes up and finds Damon sleeping in the bett Weiter to her. But that doesn't look like Elena oder Katherine. I don't know who it is.

I would doubt the authenticity of this, but in any case, it's not from 3x19. I would say it's too early for DEx to happen - Du can never tell what's going to happen in this show, but I just don't think it would happen yet.

I've never seen that Foto before but in the promo for 4x08, Elena and Damon are making out in his bett and she's wearing his shirt, so we might get a little afterglow going on.

I don't know if they would in the Weiter episode, but this is definitely Fan made. It's from a video that was made even before season 3 started. The one that made the video in YouTube told it her/himself that this particular scene was made from Damon in Caroline's bett (season1) and then she/he Photoshopped Elena in the picture.
So, No, this picture has nothing to do with Weiter episode.
