And Goku held Raditz in a stance long enough for Piccolo to use Special Beam kanone oder and killed Goku and Raditz then Gohan was trained Von Piccolo before the saiyans Nappa and Vegeta came and the Z-fighters fought the saiyan Nappa( except Yamcha because he got killed Von a Saibaman)

Then Nappa tried to kill Gohan when Piccolo sacrificed Home self to save Gohan and then Kami died because he is Piccolo's other half then Gohan got a giant burst of energy, but it wasn't enough to beat Nappa then the main character Goku saved Gohana and Krillin and easily defeated Nappa then he got killed Von Vegeta Goku told Gohan and Krillin to go Home ,but after a while Gohan went back to help his father( if Du wanna know what happened go to YouTube and type in Goku vs Vegeta)
So while Goku was injured Gohan fought the injured Vegeta and held his own while Goku have Krillin the Spirit Bomb which did serious damage , but did not kill him he left saying he w poo Ulf return.
