Do Du believe that it is rude to tell a room full of obnoxiously loud people to shut up?

I just wanted to get peoples opinion's on this so that I could decide for myself if shouting "Shut up!" at the oben, nach oben of my lungs to my homeroom was considered rude Von them oder not.

I was trying to listen to the announcements(specifically for Prom Court, because I wanted to know), and our teacher was trying to get everyone's attention. He kept saying, "Are Du guys listening? They're announcing the Prom Court! Hey, are Du guys hearing this?" and they repeatedly ignored him. They were practically screaming at the oben, nach oben of their lungs, and I was so irritated at that point that I turned my head to that specific side of the room and told them(very loudly), to shut up. I've gotten some nasty looks from some of them since that transpired, and I feel like they think I was the one being rude.

I think it was not up to Du to have to keep the class under control but the teacher's responsibility. If Du missed the announcements, Du should check with the principal's office during recess / free period / before Du go home.

No, it's not at all. If they were Du they would also be irritated as well as full of rage. If they give nasty looks, oh well! They are just misbehaved children not knowing to act their age's. As far as the information above goes, No, it was not rude of Du at all. I would have sagte Mehr than shut up though, and that would have been the end of it, weather they wanted to hear it, oder not!
