No offense but your mom should definitely do something about it. She's the one that should be taking the Süßigkeiten away from her. Honestly idk what Du should do except maybe tell your mom to ask the doctor about it, cause Du really don't want your sister to get diabetes. I'm a diabetic and trust me, it isn't fun.

If your parents aren't doing anything at all, then Du should contact a local policeman oder someone at your school. Ask them what to do, and ask them to convince your parents to do the right thing. If your parents continue to neglect your sister's health and life, Du may have to tell an adult and consider trying to foster (that would be an extreme, but if your parents do not take care of their child, it may be necessary), oder maybe convince your parents to let your sister stay with grandparents oder aunts/uncles until her eating habits improve. I hope your sister ends up okay. Good luck.

I know exactly how Du feel (I <3 my sisters too). It's good that Du talked to your parents about it, but it's not right that they don't care enough to do anything about it!! My suggestion is, try talking to an older relative oder close family friend who is earning enough money to pay the medical bills, oder better yet, convince your parents to act. If no one is willing to help, the only alternative is to just do it yourself & explain to the doctor the situation with your parents (because if something is found wrong with her, they'll have to pitch in); just try not to leave it to late as sometimes certain diseases can't be cured after a while.
