I've seen a lot of men that look beautiful in dresses. And most of my clothes are both men's and women's.

Well, the thing is, the market reflects peoples buying habits and the reason why men in general have less clothing options is because men in general have less of an interest in clothing and fashion.

But I do think that men should be able to wear skirts, dresses, and makeup without social prejudice and I do wish more allowances for that were made in our society. So ultimately yes, I do think men should be given more clothing options.

@andy10B People probably just think it would be weird because they're not used to such an idea. I'm sure plenty of people thought it was weird when girls started wearing trousers in public also. The world will come around eventually.

Originally trousers were considered male-only clothes in the way dresses and skirts and now thought of as female-only. Maybe there'll be a change in social rules for that too in future.

He seemed happy enough wearing it.

I like how this question is formulated. Should men have a wider selection of different clothing? YES. Actually, men have too few options. Even typical men clothing is frequently a big NO for some men (usually straight) because they were raised to believe that certain colours are meant for the other gender or other sexualities. Which is very restricting in my opinion. When it comes to whether men should wear typical women's clothing, well I believe that's up to each and every man to decide what he will wear, not me. In all honesty, I don't find it particularly aesthetically pleasing, but there are many things I don't find aesthetically pleasing. Apparently I am not an authority to tell what someone should or should not wear. Of course the visual part of it depends on many things too. For instance, women do wear men's clothes (eg suits), but they usually wear the feminine version of them, not an actual male's suit, because that's what is more tasteful, more appropriate for a woman's body. Consequently, I believe that fashion houses should create more feminine clothes for men but sewed and tailored for a man's body. I don't know if this makes any sense, but that's what I believe. In short, as it is now, personally I don't consider it very beautiful (perhaps because I am not used to it, who knows) but this doesn't mean that every person can't wear whatever the heck they want without being judged or bullied.

I admit to trying on women's clothing from time to time. I like it. But I wouldn't go out into public like that, because people aren't accepting of things that go outside the norm. I can imagine having my head kicked in by random gang members down the street. Not pleasant.

YES! I am so tired of going into a clothing store and seeing that the women's clothing section takes up 70 percent of the store and they have such beautiful things and the men's section has only jeans and shorts and boring shirts!

In mainstream clothing outlets? Well no... It doesn't make sense, sales-wise. Those items would not sell enough to make profit from the production of them because the percentage of men in that demographic is very low.
In boutique stores, sure. But when you take into consideration sales and marketing, it is not a wise idea.
