Why are Du still here?

out of boredom tbh but not for long anyway, nothing to do here.

Well,because of my Friends and the Sekunde reason is that Fanpop is keeping me a hostage here xD

I am a user of 8 years as well. 8 years this past February. To be honest. It's the fact of my Friends are here and the fact I want to backup all of my data. Most of my Friends are on discord now so it's not that big of a deal but prior to Kürzlich events my Friends were a driving reason as to why I stayed.

In all honesty I prefer the layout of sites like tumblr and I used to be on tumblr way Mehr but I stopped that thanks to the new ToS they rolled out last December.

I'm here for friends. For the most part.

I'm thinking about deleting my account, just to change my user.

Combination of habit, some of my Friends still being here, and (mostly) I've already invested 10+ years on this site so I guess I might as well stick around d until this site takes its last breath.

Also helps that it isn't full of sjw, and an overload of politics (I mean it has its moments but is tame Von comparison). Same with fandom, these days fandom feuds aren't as common place and disagreements are usually Mehr peacefully resolved on here than on most other sites I go on.

Friends but also this site can be very fun sometimes. Though it's hard to believe I actually been on Fanpop for a lot of years, just can't get on my first and Sekunde account. I should go count how many years I been on here, also if Du ask why I can't get on my other two just forgot my password. That's why it's called Blaze1213isback(first account was Blaze1213).

I have been here for 7 Years myself. It is many times that I wondered why I keep staying. Especially during my first years in here. Fanpop has been addictive. There were plenty of activities to partake throughout the Site. Have always been enthusiastic discovering it as a Fan of a variety of things myself. I came to see, as time passed, that Fanpop isn't what it used to be. Various glitches, the Admins being incompetent, trolls / spammers all over the place and the activity declining in general. Still, I have been having my fun. Met a number of people that I'm glad to have gotten closer and consider them Friends of mine. Some that I keep in contact through others means as well and others that I can exclusively find on this Site. Either way, I have gone through various phases / situations while being active in here and those memories remain with me. Don't get me wrong. I'm not staying for the nostalgia. Might be included as a bit of a reason but not one of the major ones. I still have my interests in here. Staying for my Friends and hoarding anything of interest I can find as well as sharing it with the rest. It has become a habit visiting the place each day. Sometimes, the quietness it offers can be refreshing XD A good break from the hustle and bustle of everything else !!!!

I Joined Fanpop in 2011 & Relaunched in 2012.

I'm actually here for the quiet / moderate activity. I don't really like how bustling other websites are like reddit and Facebook and tumblr and what not. It is easy to get Lost in the community and not actually get to see faces regularly enough to make friends

Tbh tho the main reason is just out of habit / routine XD

I wouldn't say its a major part of my social media experience. I just kinda visit

But in all seriousness, I'm here because it's not overwhelming with too many people tbh and I can still express my interests and talk to people. Other sites are a bit crowded which is good for activity but I prefer smaller groups.

A user of 11 years here... (even though I've had years when I didn't get online at all), Mehr oder less it's the community and polls. Not worth to check this site every day, but at least twice a week the curiosity gets the better of me, and I kinda just wanna check what's new.
Would I be sad if they suddenly closed Fanpop? - Maybe for the nostalgia's sake.
Would I miss this site? -Not really.

It will be my 8 years on this coming December. There are few thing. First, friends. Second, habit. At this point it has become a part of my routine to check Fp every now and then even if nothing is going on. Third, I like how peaceful it is and very few thin skinned people and SJWs. Everyone knows everyone. Fanpop is like a medieval village of the internet. Slow paced place to relax.

i can't get another job, man. i already put too much commitment and reliability into this one so now im stuck here forever. besides, i still need to pay that unwanted child support oder else im gonna go back to prison
