Frankly I don't fight with people until I feel personally attacked first.

Even then I try to settle it peacefully first...unfortunately that usually doesn't work.

Problem is I like to Debatte and type long comments, I think people mistake that for; 'OMG hündin FIGHT MEH!!!!1!!!'

because some people have different opinions on things and they don't agree with what he/she says about whatever the topic is,and it sparks a fight oder contreversy.

The same reason why anyone would fight in real life. General misunderstandings, injustice, etc.

Misunderstandings are the big ones. It's just so easy to misinterpret tone something that isn't supposed to sound rude can come off that way. It's also really easy to get sucked into a fight if they don't use @user oder something like that; I've had a number of times where I gepostet a Kommentar and then right below it I got a 'u bitch' comment. Wasn't directed at me but it looked like it was...

Isn't the reason why we come on Fanpop is to waste time? Obviously, fighting is a time waster.

Because when Du gather a large amount of people together to discuss one topic there is bound to be debates and not everyone will agree with each other. Also, people tend to get their feelings hurt if the wrong thing is sagte to them even if it was not intended to be that way. Especially through the internet is it easy for words to sound hostile because Du can not hear the other person's tone of voice neither can Du truly understand their motives behind what they are saying. Sure! Some people say things just to make others mad,and well some don't mean to but it comes off that way. I wish it weren't true but not everyone can agree with each other, because we all have our differing opinions.

People just need to harden up and stop whining when people disagree with something they said. It's just life. People honestly need to just deal with it and stop complaining about little, f**king thing and maybe act a little Mehr maturely. Then less fighting would occur.

^ That's a good principle in general but not when it comes to things like racism / sexism / homophobia / cissexism, buddy. Minor things should totally be called out because how else are we gonna change....

^ Humans are gonna change...? Yeah, right. That's never going to happen, just like humans will never respect nature. Besides, if we worry about every littel thing, how are we going to solve the big problems? Du know the ones that really matter, like the energy crisis, sustainable energy, sustainability in general for resources, global warming, our economy... etc. If we worry about every small thing on the planet, then we'll never get around to solving the big issues and that's even assuming that humans are capable of changing in the first place.
