My non-pony OC is a baby dragoness named Jade.
Jade stumbles upon Fluttershy's cottage after wandering around in the Everfree Forest for weeks. She doesn't know the way back Home and in all honestly, she isn't all that interested in leaving Ponyville after discovering how nice it is.
Jade is a curious and sassy girl, who develops a crush on Spike the moment she first sees him. She's good-natured, but she can be terribly moody when she's tired. While Jade isn’t a tomboy oder anything, she is publicly dismissive of things she sees as sappy oder too girly. It’s not that she wants to Zeigen strength, it’s just that she’s “not the theatrical type”. Although she may dismiss sappy and girly things in front of others, she does like them very much. She secretly loved being pulled into a group hug and she adored the frilly dress Rarity made her.
Jade is very aware of Spike’s crush on Rarity, but that doesn’t stop her from getting along with the white unicorn. She respects Spike’s feelings and fears he might hate her if she were too pushy. Therefore she is rather distant. She does however try to spend time with him, using all kinds of crafty excuses. She often offers him help with his chores oder she just ‘happens’ to run into him. She hopes that one Tag his attention will shift from Rarity to her. Unlike her crush she manages to hide her feelings really well. So well, that Spike is completely oblivious to them. In fact, the only one in Ponyville who seems to pick up on her feelings is Rarity.
Jade loves to read novels, especially Liebe stories, and often pictures Spike and herself as the main characters. When Mrs. Cake tells Jade the way to a man's herz is through his stomach, she starts baking. The Essen she makes is absolutely horrible, but Spike loves it anyways. Her bad cooking skills aren't her only flaw: she snores almost as loud as Spike.
