Romance Manga are mostly shojo Manga so if Du don't like shojo as Du had mentioned, no fruits basket oder sailor moons as they are common shojo manga, perhaps Du could try seinen Manga as they are a bit mature since they are directed towards adult females in Japan. And one I recommend with a very good story is bitter Virgin.
The story is about a boy who told one of his Friends that he won't datum the girl because she is a loner but then, his attitude changes when he heard her confession on the church about her past. She was sexually abused and has gegeben up her child for adoption. So his feelings change to compassion and concern for her. And the rest, read the Manga to find out. ..

I recommend Kare First Liebe (romance, comedy), Red Lion (action & romance- But Du either like it oder Du don't), Hot Blooded Woman (romantic comedy with some action), Red River (fantasy, romance), Midnight Secretary (romance, vampires), Kare Made Liebe (romance, comedy), Angel – Jäger der Finsternis Diary (this one is 13+, but the story line is so good, I have to recommend it).

I'm a 25 girl, and I found all of these romance Manga (and manhwa, cause some of these are Korean) to be very good and not too childish. I don't like Lesen Manga that is purely smut, so these all have a good plot line with the romance. As far as I can remember, none of these are yaoi, but most of them are shojo Manga so Du may oder may not like them.

Ouran high school host club,immortal rain,...semiaden is your best bet!

A suggestion is death note but there's not exactly any romance except only in like volume 4,but i HIGHLY recommend death note cuz it's full of action and suspense,many people recommend death note cuz of it's storyline.You should check it out if Du haven't.Another suggestion is Nyan Koi,it isn't exactly 17+ but i recommend it to be read and seen in anime,It's practicly a comedy romance so if Du like stuff like that then Du could try Lesen nyan koi.

Shortly afterwards, Edward gets automail limbs and joins the State Alchemits, alchemists that work for the military. They soon start searching for a legendary stone that amplifies alchemic powers called the Philosopher's Stone that might b able to get their bodies back.

Kimi ni Todoke is a really cute manga. It gets a little sad but I think it gets better. Idk I'm not done with it either

Sasameki Koto is romance and comedy and really good actually. There's no sex but definitely some perverted stuff (borderline ecchi). I loved it.

Anyways, most of these are Mehr of a collection of one-shots Von people rather than full mangas but they're still good and the majority of them aren't very kid-like and [beware] sexual.

There's "Seiho Boys High School," and "Death Note," oder if Du are interested in some shojo, "Hot Gimmick," "Othello (the one Von Satomi Ikezawa)," "Absolute Boyfriend," and "The Wallflower."
