Same as before. Fine, but I don't think I'll want to rewatch it anytime soon.

Finally, that disgrace, Mulan II left! Now if only this atrocity would leave! I still can't believe this and Mulan II made it further than Return of Jafar and Return to the Sea. This movie absolutely sh*ts on both the TV series and the original movie in every way imaginable! This movie is the definition of style over substance because people seem to like it for the songs, Ariel's sisters finally getting attention (Though they aren't given a lot of character), finally seeing Ariel's mother, and the gorgeous animation but it's still not good because most of the stuff in it is crap! Return of Jafar had horrendous animation it was still much stronger because it was faithful to the original and was a solid introduction to the amazing TV series that had a lot of creativity. Ariel's Beginning has incredible animation but the story is sh*t!

The whole music banned plot is idiotic and lame, the waste a perfectly good opportunity with doing a prequel to The Little Mermaid, Ariel's mother died in a stupid way (But I do like that humans were responsible for it), they focused more on the music being banned and ignored Athena being killed because of humans, the villain is lame and unmemorable, it was stupid that they didn't have the villain of the movie be Ursula because she said herself that she used to live in the palace, Flounder is the polar opposite of who he was originally, Sebastian would NEVER have a secret organization that is against Triton, the voice actor they got for Triton doesn't suit him at all, Triton is absolutely horrible in this movie and even worse than Rapunzel's father in the Tangled TV series, Aquata and Andrina are the only one of Ariel's sisters that are interesting (I even made my own article giving Ariel's sisters more fleshed out personalities because this movie did a poor job at that), the villain song is stupid (Also, how did Triton not figure out she was breaking his law with how she was doing the same a big musical number TWICE when music is BANNED), and the entire film is a style of substance thing. What people like are the songs, gorgeous animation, and other shallow things about the movie that is clearly unfaithful to the original movie and doesn't even follow the continuity of the original movie. The TV series is the FAR superior prequel and is better in every area except for the animation.

I don't care with this one. Also Ariel's Beginning.

I don't understand why Return to the Sea was voted out before this crap. It has some positives, for example we can finally see Ariel's mother and the animation is quite good, but the rest of it... very, very similar to what KataraLover said.

I think what they do to Belle is slightly worse than what they do to Ariel. But I want both of them out.

I feel sorry for Mulan II. I don't think it's that bad. This one is worse.

I thought Mulan had a decent sequel. It was a much better watch than Little Mermaid II.

By comparison to Mulan II, this one is horrid in places and the villain is also lame.

Is anyone else shocked that Dreams Come True made it to the top five? I mean, I love it as a guilty pleasure but it's mediocre at best. Plus, it's usually one of the first to go. It usually leaves after Belle's TORTUROUS World... I mean, Belle's "Magical" World and Journey to a New World. The results are certainly going to be interesting. I just hope Enchanted Christmas doesn't leave before Ariel's Beginning because I think it's a genuinely great film. The animation isn't spectacular but it's still good and I can tell they were trying with the limited budget they had, the songs are great, the characters stay true to themselves, Tim Curry and Bernadette Peters are amazing as always, Forte is a good villain with a unique motivation, and it has a lot of heart to it. I doubt it'll beat King of Thieves and definitely won't beat A Twist in Time, but I hope it'll at least beat Ariel's Twilight Zone.... I mean Ariel's Beginning and Dreams Come True.

@KataraLover No, not really...Here is the thing: Dreams Come True is atrocious on nearly every level, especially in terms of animation. BUT: The characters still feel like the characters (while most of the other cheapquels are guilty of character assassination) and I actually happen to like the story with the baker.

I think that Mulan and the Beauty and Beast sequels are just incredible damaging, Journey into a new world adds insult to injury regarding a very tragic real world story and while the Ariel sequel wouldn't have necessarily one of my first picks, it also so, well, lazy. Unshavedmouse recently reviewed the movie and called it the prototype of a Disney sequel. And that wasn't a compliment.
