11. Charlotte's wedding dress
This dress is very....interesting. Like there's some parts of it that's pretty but it's kinda over the oben, nach oben and so so so pink Obviously this is a dress for charlotte because almost every formal dress we see her wear is rosa and over the oben, nach oben because that's her style. I'm always for people wearing what they want, whether it be cosplay (don't judge me, I'm a geek and proud :P ) oder just wearing a different colored dress. This, however, doesn't exactly scream "wedding dress" to me. It actually reminds me of one of those cakes that has the doll in the middle of it.

10. Tiana's swamp wedding dress
Personally I liked this dress; I loved seeing Tiana wear it in Disneyland and I thought it fit well with the swamp thing. So I didn't know what to expect when I did this countdown, I figured some people didn't like it but what I didn't expect was....the Kommentare about it looking like a cabbage Ever since I saw those Kommentare that's all I think about now when I see this dress. Even though it's supposed to look like a big leafy dress (because swamp wedding) I think the animators could have done something to the dress that didn't have people think "cabbage dress".

9. Mulan's royal wedding dress
The dress is pretty and the Farben do work well together, I think what put people off the most was the kopfbedeckung, kopfstück (since that's what most of the Kommentare for this dress were about)

8. Tiana's Sekunde wedding dress
Though prettier than the cabbage dress (that's what I'm calling it now, thanks alot fanpop) the Xs on the dress were strangely placed and it did look weird on the parts of the dress they were on.

7. Mulan's wedding dress
This one had mixed comments. I've had people saying it's not a wedding dress and I've had people saying it was. I also had people saying it looked too much like her matchmaker dress but then I had one oder Mehr people say that it was a accurate wedding dress in China. The dress is really pretty, I think people just wanted it out because they think it's not a wedding dress oder because they didn't like that it closely resembled her matchmaker dress

6. Jasmine's wedding dress
The rock of Jasmine's dress is pretty but the Gold on her shoulders could have been taken off. Like other people sagte the Animation didn't do this dress any favors either because if Du compared the way this dress is animated to the dresses jasmin wore in the first movie Du would see a big difference. I know Animation difference is something to be expected for a direct to vhs sequel (especially the Sekunde direct to vhs sequel Disney ever realeased) but the Animation is so different jasmin doesn't even look 100% like Jasmine. I'd say if the Animation was better and maybe if there was a bigger budget the dress probably would have looked better.

5. Vanessa's wedding dress
The dress prettier than Jasmine's but like Jasmine's there's parts of the dress that don't work. The rock (something that's been mentioned Mehr than once) looks like curtains and the grayish/purplish trim looks dull.

4. Rapunzel's wedding dress
I've had people say it's just a copy of the rosa dress Rapunzel wore at the end of Rapunzel – Neu verföhnt and yeah that's pretty much it. If Du compare the two Du can see almost down to the last detail it's exactly like her other dress. The other issue with the dress is the ridiculously long veil. Even though it's just a copy of another dress that doesn't mean it's not pretty, it's just unoriginal.

3. Ariel's wedding dress
I thought the dress itself was very pretty, there weren't any unnecessary things on it, it's not too plain but it's not too fancy either. The biggest issue with the dress is two words: big sleeves. At the time The Little Mermaid was being worked on and released, puffy sleeves were a thing for some dresses so the dress is pretty for its time. But as the movie ages over the years it's become something for some people to make fun of.

2. Cinderella's Sekunde wedding dress
Even though it's a dress from a direct to dvd sequel the Animation is much better compared to Aladin and the King of Thieves so the dress itself looks better. The bows along the rock aren't too big oder distracting and the off the shoulder sleeves are designed well. This dress made it far in the countdown but it just can't beat the original.

1. Cinderella's original wedding dress
Cinderella's wedding dress was the first wedding dress in Disney Princess Filme and now it's number one on this countdown. It's simple compared to the Sekunde one but still elegant looking and the way the dress moves when she goes down the stairs makes it look so...wow. This dress is also a classic so this is one of those times where nothing beats the classic.

Swanpride lol....maybe it helps if I tell you that Tiana's dress remind me of sea roses (which was most likely the intention)? It's a little bit over the top, but honestly, personally my main problem with it is that it seems to mostly exist so that Tiana has something special for the line-up.

wavesurf I liked your summary for each dress. The first time I saw comments about Tiana's lime green ballgown I could not "unsee it," either. I wish Disney animators had been less lazy. With Mulan's and Rapunzel's, they just seemed to reuse the same formal dress over and over again. I still end up loving Ariel's and Cinderella's more than all the others. I look for elegance without being derivative.

Sparklefairy375 Nice result! Though I think Ariel's dress is should've been higher than Cinderella's second wedding dress which looks cheap. I don't think Charlotte's is ugly, but yeah it's definitely didn't look like wedding dress. Rapunzel's dress is unoriginal but it's better than some of the rest.

Zlyoung1 My favorite two are Vanessa's and Cinderella's original dress. I also like some of Jasmine's, but the animation quality is so inferior (and there ARE flaws in the design) that I tend to leave it aside. The problem with the others is that they are either outright unattractive in terms of not doing anything additional for the bride wearing them, a couple are like Jasmine's and have design/animation flaws, or like Charlotte's, they flatter the girl to an extent, but are too out of place to be taken seriously. I think that Vanessa's (my fave) and Cinderella's original have one thing in common which is that they're both a bit more fitted in a way that does flatter their figures without having flaws (Vanessa's sleeves are bit puffed too, but Ariel's are ridiculous, for example). Cinderella's dress is very classical, and it has that very nice bustle and sparkly design to it. Her shape isn't quite as distinct as Vanessa's is, probably because of the different times that the movie's were made at, so that Cinderella's general figure is outline without being too specific about it. In Vanessa's case, there's the very tight bodice and fitted waist leading to a more flowing skirt that, while actually on the narrower end of the spectrum (like Rapunzel's) still maintains that pretty, swishing skirt quality. Basically what I like about Vanessa's dress is that she uses it to her advantage to be tight, but tastefully, not trashily. And there are no individual big mistakes with it.
