OMg yes!! It was one of the most heartbreaking scene ever ... I felt so sorry and Du really could see how his herz was breaking, after Elena sagte the same like Katherine. Poor Damon.

Well, when Kat chose Stefan not really,but I felt sorry when Elena chose Stefan because it was real love, not the kind of feeling with Kat that was sexual atraction and not love...

I am constantly feeling bad for Damon! He is always being slapped in the face with his feelings and he can only take so much! He may be strong physically, but he isn't very stable emotionally. He spent his whole vampire life looking for his "love" Katherine, and then she tells him it was never him, but Stefan! I mean she had to freakin' compel Stefan to not make him run away while Damon's Liebe was real the whole time!! And then in a moment of weakness he looks to Elena for help and she throws his herz at his face? And she wonders why he snapped and killed Jeremy? I mean, come on, that is definitely one of her bitchiest moments there.

I do feel sorry for Damon. Though he was very wrong to kill Jeremy, how does that Zeigen her that he loves her? I can see why he "switched" off his feelings for such a long time, but it would seem that being similar to a human would prompt him to want to turn them off. I don't think Elena was wrong to tell him she didn't Liebe him, and that she loved Stefan. It would have been wrong of her to pretend she loved him, and she would have been just like Katherine. I think she did the right thing, rather than playing with his feelings. He may never get over her, but at least he isn't under the false pretense that she loves him. I like how clear her boundaries are with him.
