I sat up in my bed. It was 12:36 am, according to my phone. I sighed. I couldn't sleep. I wrapped my arms around myself, attempting to give myself a hug. My dad would be looking for me soon. And when he found me, he would demand information. I tucked my chin into my knees. Don't think about this right now, I thought silently. You will have a new family, a family who will protect Du from him. I smiled and then stood up. I stare at my hands in the BioShip. I tried to warn Artemis about Nikki, but she refused to listen. Maybe it's better if she doesn't know in case Jason lied to me. Jason told me that Nikki seemed to be in a trance after aruging, and that her voice sounded completely different.

Everyone is talking quietly amongst themselves. I risk a glance at Artemis. She is sitting Weiter to Nikki, but not listening to her speak.

Branches and leaves whip my face as I run. Artemis is clinging to me, face pressed against my chest. I see Nikki up ahead, but no Jason. I skid to a halt and Artemis flips out of my arms. Any trace of anger is gone as she rushes to Nikki's side. "Nikki, it's okay. Du don't have to be this way!"

I had not left the Med-Bay since we had gotten back to the Cave. Artemis was being tested, to see if her mental stability would be okay. I stare at the ground as Martian Manhunter approaches me. He will know. But I'm scared to ask.
"Wally." the martian says clearly, gazing down at me. I look up and frown. "Well?" He clears his throat before speaking.

"It looks as if she will never recover."

I close my eyes slowly. My life could not get any worse. "Uncle Jon!" Megan calls excitedly. "Hurry!"
My eyes fly open and I jump to my feet. "Megan?" I ask, skidding to a halt Weiter to Artemis' bed....

Artemis' POV
I stare at the tabelle I'm seated at. Wally is with me, as is Robin and Batman. Red Tornado and Black Canary come and sit at the tabelle also. Green Arrow stands in the door, ready to back me up in case I can't continue.

"You may begin when Du are ready Artemis." Batman says quietly, looking at me with something I have never seen in his eyes before. At least not when he looked at me. Concern.

I admire myself in the mirror. I am wearing a long, silky green dress. Tonight is my formal at Gotham Academy. I slip on the halskette Wally had gegeben me two months ago, the silver one with the A dangling from it.

I try to free myself from the bonds my father has secured around my wrists. The rope digs into my skin and I wince in pain. If only I had followed his instruction. Maybe being tigerin isn't as bad as I think it is...
I snap awake. I'm in the Med-Bay. How did I get here? I strain to remember.
FLASHBACK
I cursed silently as I realized trying to follow Wally was impossible. Five Minuten into walking he had taken off into a speeding frenzy. I needed to talk to him, and I knew he wouldn't listen at the Cave. But where was he going?

Kid Flash's POV
I raced around Randal Savage as fast as I could, hoping to confuse him. He lashes out angrily, and to my surprise I am sent flying backwards. I lay on my back, winded. "You seem so distracted today, Flash boy." snarled Savage. I quickly try to draw in air so I can breath normally. He places his foot upon my chest. "Something must be distracting you." His injuries though, would take him a long time to recover from. His left arm was broken, there was a large cut running down his side and he had a mild concussion due to that crowbar hit. I slam my fist into the wall. Why is everything so complicated! Nothing is going right anymore. All the fights me and Artemis have, they're all in vain! Always about how much she needs me and how much she loves me. Those aren't things Du fight about!

I open my eyes to see Nikki admiring my bow and quiver. I'm glad she's my room mate. "You like archery?" I ask sitting up in my bed. She looks over at me. I know why she chose the hero name Sapphira. It's because her eyes are the purest, brightest shade of sapphire. "Yes. I'm an archer." she Antwort me.

"Great!" I say. "Now there are two archers on this team." Nikki smiles. "So how long have Du and Wally been together?" she asks.
