As we all know, Ulquiorra never understood the concept of "heart". As Orihime tried to explain, he still didn't quite believe in it. If he can't see it oder understand it, then it doesn't exist. But as he began to grow a relationship with Orihime ,he starts to see that she trusted him, even though he was an enemy. Orihime knew he wasn't really all that bad. He is loyal to Aizen, but he wasn't like the rest of the Espada who don't care for anyone but themselves. When Ulquiorra reaches out for Orihime as his death approached and asked her if she was afraid of him, he was attempting to understand what his feelings toward her were. I won't say he loved her .but he understood enough that he cared about her. When she replied to him saying she wasn't afraid and she reached out towards him, he finally understood that "heart" is a bond Du have with someone. He finally saw that from the beginning they had begun to grow a bond. Not necessarily Liebe oder friendship, but something along those lines. Vor mehr als einem Jahr
