    Kassandra Riley threw a hemd, shirt at her open suitcase and let out a groan of frustration.
“ UGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!” her scream brought her ten-year-old brother running into her room, without knocking.

Chapter Nine

    My herz was pounding as I took in the other person’s face. He was very good looking, having light blonde hair and green eyes. I relaxed a little, taking in the confused way he looked at me. He didn’t know what was going on either. I suddenly realized how pale he was. I jerked my eyes back up to his face. He had light purple circles under his eyes. After being around the Cullens for so long, I immediately recognized him as a vampire. My herz started pounding again.

Chapter Eight

    When I woke up, I couldn’t remember all that had happened until I felt Jacob laying beside me. Then everything came rushing back with amazing clearness. The shock of it all made me gasp. Having a vampire trying to kill Du certainly took a toll on your emotions. Jacob sat up slowly, trying to get awake.
“ Du ok?” He asked, probably hearing my gasp just a moment before.

I was a little nervous about returning to the house. I mean, everyone knew about the “incident” since Edward’s ability to read minds.

    We both ran out of breath eventually and he pulled his lips from mine, resting them on my neck.
I was gasping, my mind still whirling uncontrollably.

“ Yeah I know.” His voice was slightly muffled Von my neck and hair. His lips were distracting as he kissed up my neck.
