Better Than Blood - a novel

Every 100 years, 1 or 2 humans in the world contain an unknown substance in their blood, making it taste as if it is worthy of gods.

To humans, this does not matter. In fact, only one out of ten million people even know about it. But to another being it is the greatest treasure to hold. And when it comes to drinking blood, to them, it is a matter of life, sanity or death.

Kristen Lawrence, a somewhat ordinary sixteen-year-old high school girl, is that one for this century. When she falls in love, it is with someone who can determine if she lives, dies or survives for an eternity.
