I opened my light blue eyes to buttery sunshine flooding through my window; no surprise despite the fact it was December 7. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, an always warm, always sunny place. The trees were always a brilliant green, the air always warm, and clouds rarely blocked the sky.
I detested it. Nothing against Atlanta itself, it was just too green, too bright, too hot. . . The air was thick and the humidity was high, and the unforgiving sun constantly beat down on my forehead. Maybe it's just me, but I fail to understand how anyone could possibly live in a place with even this much...

It has been about two years since I’ve seen Matt, but I kept him in my mind, knowing he was real. Since then I have become sick with a deadly disease known as Typhoid fever. Epilogue: It was a Tag like any other, the sun was shining making the mountains turn magenta like wassermelone and the breeze played with my hair flipping raven black strands into my eyes and obscuring my vision. I smiled, comforted Von the averageness of the morning. I had never really known “average” I thought. My father was a Lord of Phim and my mother was his Lady.
