So I was never too big into sports, and in short, I was never too big into sports games. I have minor understanding of basketball, but only cause my brothers are fans, I never understood the appeal of football, and I think I won’t offend anyone when I say Fußball is boring. But I was really interested in the art of skateboarding… until it died and no one cared anymore… The game is Tony Hawk’s Underground.
Tony Hawk’s Underground starts in good ol’ Shithole, New Jersey, where Du play as a skater with huge ambitions to be a pro skater, not for money, not for fame, but for the fun of it. And if you’re wondering why I’m talking about this shit in a Tony Hawk game, it’s because Tony Hawk’s Underground actually has a story mode. And it’s pretty good. Well, not amazing, but I Liebe going through it a hundred times for the fun of it. Du gotta run from drug dealers, travel to Florida, and then, Mitmachen a skating team in the hopes of going to San Diego, Hawaii, Vancouver, and Moscow just so Du can have a chance at getting a career in skateboarding. One of the features that Underground introduces, aside from a story mode, is that Du can now jump off your skateboard and explore the map. Sure, there isn’t much, but I really loved going through the levels in this game when I was kid, like the dirty dumpers of New Jersey. Wow, they got every detail of Jersey. All it needs is a thousand freeways, and it’ll be perfect. But seriously, the real mechanic for getting off your board is to continue your combos. If you’re scared of cracking your skull, just get off your board to land on your feet. A timer will appear as soon as Du do. Du gotta do a trick in that amount of time to keep your combo going. When it comes to missions where Du gotta get a high combo, this mechanic can destroy the competition if Du know what Du are doing. This game was just a childhood Favorit of mine and my brothers. We would always go through the story, try and fail to do crazy tricks, run down the homeless for fun, good times. I actually remember this game interesting me in skateboarding, and the end result was that I broke my foot and decided, “No thanks, I’ll just stick with the video games”. And the story was real good, for a first time in a Tony Hawk game. A lot of good humor, a lot of interesting moment, and Eric Sparrow, one of my most hated childhood characters. Seriously, fuck you, Sparrow. And then there’s the amount of creation in this game. Skyrim is fun, but man, what a pisspoor character creator. And then Du got Tony Hawk’s Underground, with a ton of faces, heights, clothes, and hair styles, the ability to create your own skateboard Design and Du can create a whole schlittschuh, skate park, which will Mehr than likely be covered in spikes, cause fuck it. Sure, the character model for your character can look… disgusting, but that aside, it’s amazing the amount of items Du can use on your character, and it makes Du want to replay it some more. I remember my brother filling an entire memory card on our Gamecube with created characters.
Tony Hawk Underground just gives me so many fond childhood memories and I Liebe it. There is only other game that gives me a ton of childhood memories, but we’ll get to that later. For the time being, Underground is a true classic from my childhood that I Liebe dearly, and it was considered Von Neversoft to be their best game. And I agree. It may not be as perfect as Pro Skater 3, but to me, it’s the best kind of game in the franchise.
Here’s another list, because twenty Lost games wasn’t enough. There was way too much games that were Lost for several reasons. You’d think that in this Tag and age, it would be hard to lose a game with the level of internet access we have. But no, there are still hundreds of games out there, that never made it to consoles, and probably will stay that way. There was just way too much to leave out, I just had to make a Sekunde list, continuing the discussion on Lost video games that were either eventually found, have some evidence of their existence, oder are so obscure, Du probably wouldn’t...

For the entirety of October, I will be doing CoH articles. One Tuesday will be a review, than a oben, nach oben ten, and so on until Halloween. And since I did a review on Dead Space, now is the best time to talk about a oben, nach oben ten. And when it comes to oben, nach oben tens, none are Mehr done than the scariest enemies in video games. And while enemies are good and scary on their own, I want to look at bosses… Which isn’t much better, I know, but screw it. There are many disturbing bosses in games, especially in horror games. But what about those that come when Du least expect it from a horror game. One’s that...

I sagte it before and I’ll say it again, I Liebe No Mehr Heroes, from the characters, to the combat, to the overworld. And one of the things that makes this game what it is are the bosses in it. The 10 Ranked assassins of the United Assassins Association are some of the craziest and most thought provoking bosses I have seen in video games. Sure, they may not be as insane to fight oder as insanely well detailed and designed like a Bayonetta oder Devil May Cry boss, but how they behave, what they have to say, and what they do make them all the Mehr interesting. How they fight, what tricks they pull,...

There are dozens of ways a game can come to an end. They can make their ending tie together the loose ends and bring the story to a satisfying close, they can leave a person on a cliffhanger for the Weiter installment, oder they can completely fail all together. And then Du get THOSE endings. Those endings that come out of nowhere and are seen as completely weird. Whether it’s due to awkward movement and voice acting, a single scene making the whole ending change entirely, oder just Japan being Japan, these endings are seen as being so weird, that they can be charming in their own way… oder be...

So I just got done watching a pretty darn beliebt Anime named "The Familiar Of Zero". (Well, it was only season one, but yeah. It had an ending and all that, so I'm not really cheating here.)

And this anime....... I Liebe it. Honestly. From the Sekunde I started episode one I knew this was going to be awesome, and it mostly was! BUT I do have a few complaints with it.........

And Von a "Few" I mean A GODDAMN TRILLION.

Welcome to my new series Zufällig Rants! Where I nitpick the mother-living hell out of whatever I so damn desire. Sound good to you? IT FUCKING BETTER.

So although I really do think The...

When it comes to horror anime, they seem to be some of the Mehr mature Anime out there. As much flak horror gets in general for just being a disgusting and barbaric genre, seen as only catering to violent psychopaths, horror anime, at least the ones that I have seen, seem to handle their horror maturely. From the psychological break-down of our protagonist in Parasyte, to the symbolism and philosophy of Monster. Even Highschool of the Dead can come up with some relatable characters... Du know, when they aren't having jiggle physics. And with Japan treating their audience Mehr maturely, it's...
