Now, what are all Legend of Zelda games known for. Their dungeons of course. So, today, I Want to tell Du all what my Favorit Zelda dungeons of all time all. Now, there aren’t really any rules for this list, other then this is my opinion, so…. Let’s start the list
#15: The Eagle from Legend of Zelda - What better way to start off the Liste then the first dungeon that started it all. Now, sure, it may not be all that great Von today’s standards and it seems pretty lackluster when compared to the dungeons of this era, but, remember. This was the very first dungeon in Zelda history. Also, that dungeon Musik is so nostalgic for me
#14: Ghost Ship from Phantom Hourglass - Now, this one is actually pretty freaky. When Du are on the ship, Du meet all sorts of creepy stuff. Like giant spiders, ghosts, and venomous snakes. However, what is really scary is the boss. Mainly, this dungeon has Du go around and find four little girls who got Lost while exploring the Ghost Ship. But, when Du find all four of them, they turn into four evil ghosts, who are the bosses of this dungeon. This dungeon is pretty freaky, yet it had a very original idea… Okay, so, A Link to the Past did the whole escort a person who turns out to be the dungeon boss before, but Phantom Hourglass had four escorts instead of one
#13: Snowpeak Ruins from Twilight Princess - Now, I really liked what Nintendo did with this dungeon. Instead of actually making a dungeon, we were sent to explore a large mansion on oben, nach oben of a snowy mountain which was the Home of a Yeti couple named Yeto and Yeta (Real creative names), and instead of a dungeon map, it’s a mansion map, and instead of a Boss Key, its a Bedroom Key. In other words, Du ARE EXPLORING A HOUSE, NOT A DUNGEON! It’s pretty neat, and finding pumpkins and cheese in this house is real funny. Also, the Blizzeta boss fight was real horrifying. I won’t spoil it, but, trust me, Du will get startled a little
#12: Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time - Now, this temple kind of freaked me out when I was a kid. Mainly due to the scary music, the mindfuckingly weird hallways, and, of course, the Wand Masters that come out of nowhere and grab you. But, the dungeon was real fun. Du think that Du will easily get through, it, but, nope, instead, Du need to hunt down all four of the Poe Sisters in order to get into the elevator in the first room to reach the dungeons boss. So, instead of fighting one mini-boss, we gotta fight four, and it’s pretty fun, especially when Du use the bow and arrow. And the boss fight with Phantom Ganon was pretty cool too. Sure, this temple may have horrified me, but it was still amazingly fun
#11: Earth Temple from Wind Waker - Now, here is another temple that scared me when I was younger. This one had zombies, ghosts, and a hand that comes out of the ground from a dark abyss. Eugh. Still, this temple was pretty fun. The puzzles were well thought out, and I really liked using both Link and Medley to solve these puzzles. The only problem with this temple was its boss, Jalhalla… he sucked… A lot… But, other then that, this temple was great.
#10: Jabu-Jabu’s Belly from Ocarina of Time - Man, was this place crazy. Du thought exploring a mansion was weird, how about exploring the inside of a goddamn fish. Yeah, apparently, there’s that now. Also, I think this fisch should see a doctor oder something, because he has Mehr holes in his body then John Marston… okay, that joke was awful, I apologize. Anyway, this temple has Du fighting jellyfish… and that’s about all I can recognize in this temple. This temple was so unique… but, the reason it is lower is because we had to escort Ruto the whole time. WHY NOT APPRECIATE WHAT I DO, Du STUPID FISH
#9: Mutoh’s Temple from Phantom Hourglass - Goddamn, this temple was really confusing, but at the same time, rewarding. Du need to solve a puzzle Von talking to the three knights of the Island of the Dead, and it is easier sagte then done. But, once Du solve it, Du will be able to walk into a very crazy, yet very fun temple. The puzzles are well thought out, not too hard, oder too easy. And Du also get the Hammer in this dungeon, which is probably my most Favorit item in this game. Also, the boss fight with Eox, while hard, is still super fun. And too think that all it took was three hours to get to this dungeon
#8: Shadow Temple from Ocarina of Time - OH MY GOD! Now, this here, this is the dungeon of nightmares. This dungeon has dead bodies built on the walls, ghosts, zombies, giant guillotines, giant scythes, walls that try to crush you, and Dead Hand, the enemy that grabs Du and tries to eat you. Nintendo, everybody. Giving kids nightmares since 1984. The best way to describe this place is it is probably what Vlad the Impaler would want his dream house to look like. However, this dungeon is really creative. I really like it… even though the dungeons boss looked like a penis with hands….. Goooodeeeeeeey
#7: Temple of Time from Twilight Princess - Remember the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time? It was a great big chapel that held the Master Sword, and was the place Du would start after Du save your game. However, in Twilight Princess, the Temple of Time is now filled with enemies. This temple is so fun, that just getting through the forest was a brilliant idea. Du need to get through this temple to get the Master Sword, and it seems Ganondorf learned from his last defeat, since he did leave enemies everywhere. Yeah, that was probably a good idea. This temple is a real good way to remind us of Ocarina of Time, and is such a fun temple
#6: Snowhead Temple from Majora’s Mask - So, after making a giant Goron fall asleep, and… probably making him fall to his death, we then make it to Snowhead Temple. How is it… Pretty damn unique. The entire temple is cut off Von a giant rock. The only way to get passed it is to use the Goron Mask, and schlagen, punsch the rock. It is an amazing idea, if Du ask me. Not to mention, the temple boss, Goht, was pretty fun. Though, I am wondering why there is lava in a temple made 95% of snow
#5: Wind Temple from Wind Waker - Now, this dungeon is based off of, Du guessed it, wind. There are wind turbines everywhere, which can either be useful when Du use your Deku Leaf, oder can get in the way and forces Du to use your Iron Boots. Sure, Makar may be grade A useless in this temple, since all he can really do is plant trees, and get kidnapped at one point in the dungeon, but how can Du get mad at someone like Makar. Also, the Musik in this temple is so amazing. And Molgera was a pretty fun boss
#4: Ancient Cistern from Skyward Sword - Now, this may sound crazy, but, there is actually a Legend of Zelda game with a GOOD water dungeon. Yeah, its true. Skyward Sword actually has a good water dungeon. Mainly due to how symbolic it is. The upper section is like a beautiful castle, which has running water and Gold built into the walls. Then Du get to the lower section of the temple, which looks like Satan’s besen closet. There are demons everywhere, torture gear on the walls, and a river of blood. But, this whole dungeon represents a story called the Spider’s Thread. Try Lesen this story, then playing this level. Du WILL see a connection
#3: Spirit Temple from Ocarina of Time - Now, this temple is really cool. The first time Du come to this temple, Du play as your younger self, and navigate through the temple, searching for the Silver Gauntlets. Once Du do find them, Nabooru, a Gerudo thief, is then taken Von the two witches, Koume and Kotake. Du then come back as a grown-up and travel through the temple again. This temple is really well made, and it has my Favorit boss in the game, other than Ganon. Twinrova is a pretty unique boss, but, then again, what temple in this game wasn’t unique?
#2: Forsaken Fortress from Wind Waker - Now, when Du first get to this temple, Du are already put on edge. Insane too, since this is the FIRST DUNGEON IN THE GAME! I’m not kidding, this is actually the games first temple, and already, it become Metal Gear Zelda. Du are sneaking around the temple, doing your best to avoid being seen. And, Du even hide under barrels. This game is just screaming “Metal Gear Solid”. Hell, Du actually get a stone from tetra so she can communicate with you, which is very close to the codec from Metal Gear Solid. This is just Metal Gear Fortress. Plane and simple.
#1: Stone Tower Temple from Majora’s Mask - Now, this is the greatest idea for a temple I have ever seen in a Zelda game. Once Du make through the epic mini boss, Igos du Ikana, Du then get to this temple. Getting up to it is a real challenge, as Du have to use your new song, The Elegy of Emptiness, to solve a bunch of puzzles. And that’s just what is outside this dungeon. Inside, Du have to do the usual thing. Fight enemies, solve puzzles, get keys. But then, that’s when Du turn the temple upside down… Yes, I just sagte that. Du actually take the temple and turn the entire place upside down. This entire idea is not only crazy, but it is giving Isaac Newton the middle finger. And I Liebe it. Also, the Giant’s Mask is a freaking amazing mask, which allows Du to transform into a giant, and fight the temple’s boss, which is insane, and I Liebe it for that. This temple had one of the greatest ideas imaginable, and I Liebe it for that
So, there Du go. Did Du like the list. Tell me what Du think of it. With that, I will see Du all Weiter time.
#15: The Eagle from Legend of Zelda - What better way to start off the Liste then the first dungeon that started it all.
