Since they were never a couple..

It has its strong and weak points. Their friendship has been amazing to watch form but my judgement on the romantic side is kind of up in the air.

Love the friendship hate anything else for them.

They have an amazing perfect story.

and just because someone isn't a 'official couple' doesn't know there is less feeling involved. the journey is what matters. dair is perfect. just the story of their first kiss. it was four years in the making. not 20 minutes in a bar after a break up and drinks ... their story is well-written, probably the best story ever written for television. anybody who CANT see it is just blind. you dont have to like them to see that there are significant little things that make dair special. its their banter, their bond, the secrecy, the denial. the whole dan&blair story is amazing.

I don't think you can rate a couple low just because they aren't a real couple. That goes for couples like Delena, Tiva and so many more.

Chair and Derena fan here. They have an awesome potential. That's true that they are great as friends, but they also really fit when it comes to love.

Not a fan, but they do have great potential.

They have great potential but their story is not yet amazing but hopefully in the future it will be.

I absolutely adore Dan and Blair as a couple, but their storyline (especially towards the end of season 5) has not been perfect. Dan and Blair had some of the best build up I've ever seen from any couple. The scenes that Dan and Blair have together are, in my opinion, extremely well-written. Penn and Leighton just seem to shine together. When Dan and Blair are in a scene together, it brings life into the normally dull Gossip Girl. I have two problems with their storyline, though.
1.) Blair's feelings were not as focused on as Dan's
2.) The lack of a Dair break up
Blair randomly "realized" that she was in love with Chuck. This happened only a few episodes after she told Dan that Chuck didn't have her heart anymore. Nothing about their break up makes any sense.
