Like I said, it was a dark and foggy night. I thought my eyes were deceiving me. I think I saw a Jew. This time around, there are practically no Jews. They are either in concentration camps- awaiting their death, oder dead already. The Nazis are not being easy with the Jews. This Jew was covered with a black cloth, and he appeared to be standing over a cowering boy, twelve years old of age at least. I moved in closer, cautiously, with my Saumensch, and we were both suspicious. The Saumensch's eyes met mine. "Is that...a murder, Carls?" Matna, the Saumensch, was definitely suspicious. She never called me Von my real name, Carls, unless she was suspecting something oder very concentrated. We saw the shadow of the Jew slowly bring down what looked like...an ax...down on the victim's head. It was sliced in half...it was a true murder....seen right before our eyes. We had witnessed...a real, live murder. The Saumensch and I was frozen, shocked Von what had just happened within one minute. We ran back Home together, never stopping to look back. We slammed the doors on each other, which was a signal to go to our rooms, and send codes to each other with our flashlights. I tapped a signal from my flashlight using Morse Code to her, saying, "We'll meet tomorrow morning at 6 AM." The Saumensch tapped back, "Okay. Something's definitely going on." I tapped, "Definitely, And I don't like it." She tapped, "No one does, I'm sure of it. And we're the only ones who know." I tapped, "Yes. No one should know besides us." She tapped back, "Good night." I tapped, "Night." We called it a day, but I couldn't fall asleep. I was haunted Von the thought of the ax-murdering Jew. And...neither could Matna.

Chapter 7
    Secrets unearthed
By the time the flash drive was down, it was early in the afternoon and I took the device and plugged it on my computer so father wouldn’t suspect a thing.
The file folder popped up, and I clicked on the first file in there. It was snippets of writing, all of father’s thoughts put down in there. After a few minutes, I clicked out of there, shaking my head. I clicked on the Sekunde file.
    This one...

When I was sitting with my hand on the windowsill,
I couldn't help but remember your wind-swept hair,
Your hazel eyes glancing at me,
And your amazing smile never leaving your face

It just came Von me that Du weren't here
But I will always be with you
Never leaving your side,
Cuz it's just Du and me tonight

I'm never gonna leave Du crying
I hope Du feel the same
Cuz there won't ever be another girl
That's gonna Liebe Du like I do tonight

I'm never gonna leave Du standing
In the mist, forlorn and sad
I hope Du feel the same
I will always be standing Von your side

[Chorus]
Cuz it's just Du and me tonight...

I was sitting at my schreibtisch at school, Schreiben my Weihnachten list. It was hard to think of Mehr than three things, so I wrote down a gift card to itunes, some movies, and a new pair of nike shoes. I'm trying to think of something, and my teacher sagte "Emily it wouldn't be wise to ask for money for a present". When I went Home I was still thinking about my Weihnachten list, but then my little sister came up to my face "Sissy, sissy, Du should ask for a super big princess kit'. Then abendessen came, we had roasted chicken. My older brother Eric was bragging...

“Get out of my house!” my mother shrieked at me from the other side of the kitchen.
I watched her with wide, blue eyes as she pointed at me with the tip of her butcher’s knife. My cheeks flamed red with embarrassment, shame, and a tinge of anger. “Mom, I-”
“Mrs. Shortts, you’re overreacting about this. Landon has no control over who he is attracted to,” Bane, my best friend Skylar’s father, said.
“Butt out,” I hissed glancing over at him.
Bane gave me an icy glare, but sagte nothing....
