Should I read the books? I am SO into True Blood and don't want to ruin my expectations of the show.

The Bücher are alot of fun, I got into them about 3 years Vor after a friend left her copy of 'Living Dead In Dallas' at my pool and I couldn't put it down, I immediately had to go out and buy 1-6 and have followed each one after.

Though the Zeigen follows the path of the Bücher (major plotline wise) there are a lot of clever and creative deviations to keep the reader fanbase guessing. However there have also been times where I've wanted to slap Mrs. Harris silly (book 3 especially) but I guess thats with any series writer, and looking back I can applaud her for actually fleshing out her characters and giving them some REAL obstacles, unlike a certain "sparkling" Autor who shall remain nameless. So all in all, I recommend the Bücher to *most* Zeigen fans, unless they are diehard Bill Fans in which the Zeigen is definitely better (his character in the Bücher is quite dull among other things).

I loved the books, they are one of my Favorit series of all time, and I read a lot, but since the Sekunde season started the fact that I've read the Bücher makes me dislike the series Mehr and more, it makes me mad because the Zeigen is so good but they change so much stuff that they don't have to and it was usually better before they changed it...so I don't know what to tell you, because normally I'd say absolutely read the books, but i assume Du want to keep liking the show

definitely read the Bücher the Zeigen is really different anyway ive read all of them and im still suprised when i see things on the Zeigen and its always interesting to see how they cast the roles and how they make the Bilder within your mind that Du create come to life...

The Bücher may be what the Zeigen was based on but they are vastly different from the Zeigen and the direction that the creator is taking it in so if Du do read the Bücher just know that what happens in the Bücher won't necessarily be what happens in the show

Like they have all sagte they are great books. I am new to the series, both Bücher and TV. I watched the Zeigen first and then started Lesen the books, great way to get your insgesamt spoilers. All Du really need to know is that the book is just as good as the show. It is different and Du can read it with out ruining the whole show. The Bücher are in first person so Du get to know Sookie a lot better, but most of the side characters Du would never get to know with out the show.

These Bücher are ok. I have read all 9 so far. they are a easy read. I would recomend Twilight and The Black Dagger Brotherhood for a great read. The Black Dagger Brotherhood is definately adult, but they are fantastic!!!!!!Twilight well who can resist Edward.I would just watch the Zeigen and read the others.
