Duncan leaned against the Wand of the outside trailer, in his war-torn tuxedo, and he slid to the ground with a sigh. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry?" Courtney gently wiped tears off her cheeks. "For what?"
"For putting Du through all this."
"Duncan." She kneeled down and comforted him. "I would give anything to find that the one I love...is right here in front of me." She looked deep into his baby blue eyes and smiled.
He smiled dreamily as she laid her head on his chest, the rain pouring even harder. Courtney cuddled Duncan closely under the trailer hood, it protecting them from the rain.
