Hey guys, just need to write down my thoughts before they run away.

Okay, so we're all wondering "WHY IS TONY WILLING TO BE WITH EJ AND NOT ZIVA?". In my mind, Tony is trying to cling desperately to his old self, because let's face it, it's what he (and us, no doubt) are used to. The skin is comfortable (or at least, it used to be, until he rescued Ziva from Somalia). EJ is like the skin. From the beginning, Ziva has always challenged him to be a man (remember, Identity Crisis and Internal Affairs, especially?) She doesn't want him to change, she just wants him to take on some responsibility...

Sorry this took awhile, DaveX had me juggling whether oder not to continue! All right, this was gepostet on Fanfiction.net before that thing happened. Oh, DaveX, if Du read this, I do this for fun. Tony finally works up the courage to ask his boss. "Um, Gibbs?"
"What, DiNozzo?" Gibbs snaps. Tony takes a step back.

The atmosphere immediately changes. "Rule 12?"

"So what’s the big news? Are Du guys buying this yacht? That would be so cool! We could have parties on i all the time, and Gibbs could fisch and Ducky could tell us stories about all the boating stuff that he knows…"

"Anyway, we’re not buying a boat. The feds don’t pay us that much."
