I felt sorry for Caroline, because he was blatantly using her, when she wanted something genuine.
Rebekah and Damon was using each other, as I believe at the time she wanted Matt and he Elena.
Katharine said she loved Damon and Stefan, but you don't lie, torment or hurt anyone the way she did to them, if your suppose to love them like you claim.
@spuffyDelena - Just because some don't share the same view point as you, you call them delusional. Why would you want to try and start something. I don't know if that was your intention or not, but I can't be asked to argue over fictional characters. Either way you say they is only one option, when in truth there are others, as he has eternity to find someone. Bamon is the only couple I ship on the show, so I don't "convenience ship" as you call it. The same way some fans think it won't always be Stefan, the same can be said of Damon, as Elean is still young and can change her mind.

Bonnie and Damon might not have romantic feelings for each other, but it does not mean that this can't change in the future, but I suppose the same can be said of any potential couple on the show.
