I totally see 2x21 being the finale. The ending would have been perfect! It would leave us thinking that maybe Damon can die or not. A good cliffhanger if you ask me. But half of me is pretty satisfied with 2x22.. maybe I'm being bias just because of DE, but the episode was pretty good.

2x22 was great, but I think that 2x21 could have easily been the season finale. But if it weren't for 2x22 we wouldn't have had the opportunity to see all those epic DE scenes! AND let's not forget the KISS! <3
