So have any of Du ever wondered what happens to a person if somebody switches bodies with them? Cause I've always been confused bout that.
For example, whatever happened to Alaric when Klaus and him switched bodies? Was Alaric in Klaus's body? I like to think that he was. Why? Because the other options just sound so stupid and so bizarre, that I would have an easier time believing that my dog was actually a horse trapped in a dog's body than that this is what happens to the other person if they have been body switched.
The other option I guess (let's call it option B) if Alaric wasn't in Klaus's body, was that his spirit was just floating around... Like maybe Alaric's spirit would follow Klaus round and call the hybrid some dirty names oder something along those lines. But I doubt that, cause when Alaric did go back to his body, he had no idea what Klaus had done while he was in his (Alaric's).
Option C would be that maybe they (the witch oder whoever does the body switching) keep the spirit in an empty jar of preserves oder something until they're done screwing with people. Like cause when the white witch guy was transferring people from bodies, he had a ton of knick-knacks with him. So I don't know, maybe that's what happens to the other person if they are body switched.
That odd thought has been swirling in my head ever since season 2 when Klaus and Alaric switched bodies, then when Rebekah and Esther switched, and then again when Tyler Klaus switched forms.
So hopefully they'll shed some light on the whole ordeal in season 4. ;)
